  1. I always seem to be broke, but it is never my fault. I always play the hands correctly, i always seem to catch some crazy bad beat on the river. The proof is in my results...just ask the guys I play with. Really i always have the best hand going in, and i never tilt, am never wrong on my reads, and always play perfect poker. If it wern't for luck i'd be Phil Helmuth!!!
  2. good luck DN, don't let that Ivey fella bully you around!
  3. I heard he was done because he got hit by a bus!!!
  4. Was wondering, after watching the final table of Stars $700,000 tourney, how do get your money and not be taxed? Is it even possible? Can you make deposits into your bank account from you online account in small amounts so as not to get taxed?
  5. I wish it was last week because I was ON A BEACH IN JAMAICA not many computers there so I didn't have a chance to keep up with the site. Sorry scottyno that you don't approve of our talking about this topic today. Next time we will all have to check with you to see what posts are going to be acceptable for you, until then just don't read the posts you have no interest in!

  7. Another aspect of his slow rolling his hand and his comment about it is that it really put her on tilt. That guy my have done that on purpose to get into her head, and it worked! He has been at WSOP final tables before so it was not his first time playing live or anything like that. He may have played it like that for a reason!!!
  8. How long have they been taking a rake from the entry fee's (i.e. what year did they start doing this, did they when Doyle or Chan won?) The entire payout structure for the Main Event was screwed up, 3rd place paid the same this year as last. There was an increase of over 50% of players and yet 1st place only increased by 33%. If the payouts were the way they should have been and a player recieved $10,000 for finishing in 560th place is he required to leave a tip when he is only even money and having already contributed to the 3% rake?I don't think that a tip of $50,000 on top of a rake the e
  9. Great to see that everyone has a point of view.I used to think the big game was hopscotch on the sidewalk outside of my apartment. But the Andy Beal matches are not the big game. The 4K-8K game regularly spread at the Bellagio (and sometimes elsewhere) is.My bad the Beal matches are called the world's biggest game, not the big game! P.S. My hopscotch games in my driveway were by far bigger than yours!!!
  10. I was always under the impression that the "big game" was the heads up matches with Andy Beal and "The Corporation" not the 4k-8k game that the big name pros play against each other at the Beliago or when they are on the tournament tour!
  11. I have a real problem with 3rd places payout! Last year Josh recieved 2.5 mil for 3rd, this year, twice as many players, 3rd place is still 2.5 mil. That doesn't seem to right to me, I realize there are more spots to be paid out but 560th place was a payout of $12,500. Why wasn't it even money at the bottom and more cash up top???
  12. Raymer has already defeated more people than anyother player in WSOP main event history (and maybe the entire WSOP alltogether). The huge numbers the past two years confirm that! I know that don't mean a whole bunch (he has outlasted around 8000 people in the past Two years). To go this deep in a tourney the year after Winning against the biggest field ever is quite an accomplishment. He has the pressure of being last years winner and a very recognizable face at the tourney. Who hasn't looked for his or Moneymaker names on the chip count boards just to see how there doing? Raymer is the
  13. I understand that some threads are unusual and responses are necessary. My discontent is that nearly every thread gets flamed no matter what the topic. There are some people out there who seem to do nothing else but cast discouraging remarks at every oppertunity. It appears to be getting worse every week. I wonder if I am the only person who is getting a bit put off by all of this?
  14. Why is it that every post on this forum has to have negative responses to it. If there is an interesting topic going someone always has to flame it, it is really starting to get stupid! I think the information that the OP posted was interesting, nothing more nothing less, and no response to it was necessary, but when all these haters and people who have nothing better to do but be negative feel it is their duty to put someone else down then I feel something should be said. I know people will have their smart a-- comments about this, but this entire forum is getting out of hand. I like the
  15. You don't think it's easier to play against a good player who has a indepth knowledge of poker and the situations that their in than some loose cannon that thinks J8s in first position is worth a raise, because their suited? I would rather play a good player than a new player with limited skill anyday! Players getting better NEVER favors anyone except the players who are getting better. You win when your opponents make mistakes, not because they're playing well. I'm sure the pros, even if it took a while, have adjusted to play correctly against some of the horrible play they're seeing. And
