omfg, pp payed the wrong guy!!!!

Recommended Posts

OK, so I'm trying to learn how to play some games other than NLHE so I've been trying my hand at Omaha and 7-stud. Although on this Omaha hand to follow I would think that I would play my 9h to complete the flush and give me the winning hand. Can someone please explain why PP played my 88 to give me 2 pair with the board and not the 9h to give me the flush? Is this mistake common, or is it not a mistake as far as the game is concerned. These are the kinds of donks who cash in WPT events!Bah!:club:
easy now cowboy...I've more than proven myself at NLHE for the people who post on this site, but as I said, I'm trying to learn some other games. I openly admit I'm a newb at Stud or Omaha or anything other than NLHE, but easy on the "donk" stuff.

If anyone here has cashed in a WSOP 7-card Stud or Omaha event, I'd love some beginners advice if you've got the time. Thanks!Al

I like how you are talking down to him, yet you are wrong yourself. You have to use EXACTLY two hole cards.Word.Zach

No harm done, but you and I both know how quickly a simple mistake like mine can spiral downward on this site. If I ever see you at a WPT event I'll buy you a beer! Cool? The LA Classic is coming up in Feb, you gonna be there?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there aren't too many of those type of players you mention trolling a fan style forum site. However there's plenty of amateurs who have played the games and tourny's long enough to have cashed in a major tournament. Not to mention that to the cash players here in Los Angeles at Commerce Casino, the "lifers" consider those to be dead games. The same players every day just pushing money back and forth between them with no new, dead money to be found. But why argue the semantics?

Well, thats just because Lee Jones doesn't like to follow rules, just look at how rigged his site is.

there are plenty of more than capable stud and omaha players here...judging by your initial post, anyone who knows just the basic rules of these games is a jedi master compared to you.you might want to check out the omaha strat forums by the way....there is often some good advice floating around.
