ice4804 0
I just arrived at my University in Gold Coast, Australia about three weeks ago, where I'll be spending the rest of the semester. I'm interested to see if any Australians or others who are familiar with the area have any interesting insight regarding the casinos around here. So far the only one I have heard of that has hold'em is Conrads Jupiter, which spreads a 10/20 limit game I believe.Any others in the local Gold Coast/Brisbane region worth looking into?Cheers
loxo 0
Jupiters is the only Casino on the Gold Coast, there is however another Casino called Conrads in the Brisbane CBD I believe.

yergan 0
Both are pretty useless. I think Jupiters spreads 2 tables of 5/10 limit and Conrads has 4 tables of the same. Rake was 5% at both if i remember correctly.

Rake was 5% at both if i remember correctly. Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was 5/10 or 10/20 limit. One guy I spoke with on the phone said the blinds were 5 and 10, then someone else said it was 5/10 limit.
ice4804 0
No tipping the dealers after winning a pot, correct? I know tipping is not customary down here, just want to make sure that extends to the poker tables as well.

In fact they are not permitted to accept any tips from players, the waiter/waitresses can be tipped though.Have Fun.
