obligatory "fold pre". Seriously though, you are poised to be playing from OOP and your hand makes very few nuts, which will lead to some difficult decisions in life.Based on the line taken, I'm led to believe that the blind limper flopped the straight and was hoping for the check raise. I'm not really giving this guy credit for betting out his non-nut flush draw, then checking it over. Odds are he has A5/56/99, or total air. That said, we don't want to run this guy off, nor do we want to bet thin enough that he finds value in raising a better non-nut flush. I fire out a bet of ~270-370 and hope to get paid off by the curious straight or set.If you are taking such a specuative flop (you shouldn't), and if you are calling a turn bet with 3 nut outs and 8 big improvement/non-nut outs...while holding otherwise total air right now (thin IMO), when you make a hand and the guy checks over to you, checking behind seems pretty damn weak compared to everything else you've done in the hand, right?

It is a good thing that I did not play this hand then. I reversed pantangele and myself's spots. I had something like Js Tc Th 9c. He checked the end and I told him its laughable that he would check down when he made his hand. He then tried to justify that he wasn't even trying to make the flush, and called me an idiot. It was all hilarious.

calling pre is horrid, either isolate or fold pre. i prefer folding pre. good hand to open, but this line blows from preflop. and i bet flop to be honest.
