If everyone believes you are LAG from the comment made when you first sat in, you should bet out. In early position, you will more than likely get at least one caller. Even better, they might just re-raise and then you can push all-in and they are committed to see it through. That is the benefit of a LAG image. Many times, your lead out is not respected so they go over the top with weaker hands like top pair figuring you for a straight draw. Earlier comments were correct, if a scare card comes out with a LAG image, the action will stop. No need to slowplay if that is your true image.

I vote for call. The 60k bet on flop could have been designed to create the proper odds for a flush draw.

Enough said. Well, maybe not. If you always have 7 players seeing a flop and 4 going to the river, you will not beat the game. It is a complete crapshoot. Nevermind. My name is... and I used to believe this.This type of game does require tighter pre-flop requirements. However, your post flop decisions will be most critical. Tighten up on the kinds of flops you go forward with. ie two pair, trips , huge draws, you need to have lots of patience and understanding. Good luck

You should have seen the flop. You let your run of success at that table cloud your judgement. Your judgment was sound, but it should have pushed you in the other direction. I can't add more than suited or the guy above me other than don't be afraid of the monsters under the bed.

I may get flamed for this, but if you know they go after flush draws, why not lead into them? They may just call. When that club comes on the turn, you lose less. With your play, you invited him to commit himself to the pot. This isn't a bad play, but there is no way for you to get away from your hand. Tournament play is much different than cash game play. Cash game play is not about survival. It is about pushing your advantages, no matter how small they might be. In a tourney, I will not call an all-in early if I know it is just a coin flip. In a cash game, I will call that bet. I have found that if I am going to play in a tournament, I cannot be playing in a cash game at the same time. I have found the most success at Bodog and FCP. I do not play limit. I find it boring. I have had more consistent results at 2-4 vs .50-1 or 1-2. The $50 Long Kiss Goodnight tourney is great. FCP does have some better players. However, there are still poorer players at every level. Watch when Daniel plays 50-100NL and you will see all kinds of odd play.
