  2. Stack sizes matter and i also believe suitedness matters. Basically with big offsuit connectors your getting REVERSE IMPLIED ODDS. Essentially when you make the best hand (like one pair) you will not get paid off and when you make the second best hand (pair of queens or kings against aces) you will not be able to find out if your hand is good without putting more money in the pot. I usually just avoid these situations.Listen to Nicoson and fold.....(unless the circumstances are right.....position, huge stacks, suitedness, donkey opponent who stacks off with one pair)
  3. Ive been playing a couple hundred hands of micro limits a day lately and here are my thoughts:ITS MICROSTAKES!!!!! People make horrendous plays all the time. Because he is an unknown i tend to assume he is bad, since i believe that over half the players at 10 no limit SUCK.The range against an unknown includes any eight, 57,99,66. Ran that on poker stove and you have 66 % equity!Call and if he flips over the nuts make a note on him and include what his overbets mean so that you don't make the mistake again. Also include your stack size if i have around fifty bigblinds this is a snap call. If i
  4. Ok, well so far i learned i was definately overestimating my equity and the strength of my hand.....unless i was playing cribbage. Anyway lesson learned as i donked of a stack to the villians two pair. Need to quit playing while tired.

I know ive heard alot of people like to felt combo draws, but i
  6. Thanks for all the replys, i got some good stuff. Mtdesmoines post reminded me that i need to think about specific hands in the ranges and probably play a little less emotionally. Anyways i felt like kings were good and figured i might get a call from a worse hand and shoved. Villain shows A8 of diamonds. The only thing i think justifies this play is the absolute donkness of microlimits. Against a player that i had a note on as bein solid i think this would be much more tricky.edit: More specifically i think the fact that all of the over pairs of this donk are calling me is what really caused

  9. I found this website very helpful. www.beatnolimit.comAlso sheiky, did Tien end up writing an article about post flop play.
  10. IMO this is based on how big of fish are the other players at the table plus the three bettors range. If you have seen the callers call reraises with really marginal hands (KJ, Axs actually might not be uncommon here for some of the bad players at this level (im currently grinding my bankroll at .05 .1) im more likely to repop. Also the second thing im worrying about is the three bettors range. If hes a guy that will three bet you with 88 + and AJ + I definately repop. If the four bet comes i think its time to lay it down.that said with 8 hands you probably dont have any of these reads
  11. I have taken my initial deposit of 60 up to 300 on ultimate bet. I completed my bonus and was looking to capitalize on the bonuses of other sites. Is the standard procedure to get an epassporte account and use it for deposits and withdrawals? Also, what sites should i hit for bonuses?
  12. i did end up pushing. One thing that influenced this was i could tell he had been the table captain before i came. On the called bluff i took about a fourth of his stack. Ive noticed when this happens to some low stakes players they seem to take it personally and will really try to bully you (basically a form of tilt).anyway i pushed, he called and flipped over pocket nines. He ended up hitting a runner runner straight and immediately leaving the table. even though i felt like puking i finally felt good about makin the right decision in a borderline situation.
