Mattnxtc 0
what was your reasoning for checking this flop? This is a board that has a lot of connectivity that I dont want to see get checked through. Any reads on the villian that made you want to do this?
MisterB 2
what was your reasoning for checking this flop? This is a board that has a lot of connectivity that I dont want to see get checked through. Any reads on the villian that made you want to do this? The villian had bet the flop 3 of the last 5 hands he was in and bet the turn the other 2.My read is hes betting with a weaker ace, I wanted the C/R so he would lay it down or he was SS I was hoping he would put the rest in with a weaker hand
Mattnxtc 0
if thats ur read that he would bet if checked to then crai is probably correct....b3b is probably good a lot in this situation too
Naismith 0
No, I don't fold here. In my experience, especially at 5/10, people sitting with that amount of money are looking to get all of their chips out in the middle, not really concerned with whether they're ahead or not. I play it exactly like you did.I'm going to guess that the running kings killed his hand and gve you the win.
screech 0
what happened on the turn and river? The easy answer is bet the flop. I don't know why you would consider oflding. The villian had bet the flop 3 of the last 5 hands he was in and bet the turn the other 2.Ok, good check. My read is hes betting with a weaker ace, I wanted the C/R so he would lay it down or he was SS I was hoping he would put the rest in with a weaker hand Ok, terrible reasoning. Why on earth would you want him to fold a weaker ace? I really don't mind just check/calling down given your read that he loves to bet when checked to.

I really don't mind just check/calling down given your read that he loves to bet when checked to.I agree that statement by OP makes absolutely no sense. This hand is a no brainer vs a shortstack where we were pf aggressor and hit our top pair. The check was nice on the flop due to your reads as was putting him all in. I'm glad I didn't c results but this is not a hand I would even think twice about.
Peak01 0
I like the play. Hope he didn't have a King here.
Dannon 0
I definately don't fold, I thought your play was completely fine.
