  1. Tell me about this documentary. Was it all jen or poker people including her? What channel, DVD, etc...From Office space, quoted on imdbPeter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a million dollars? Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man. Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time? Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money. Peter Gibbons: Well, not all chicks. Lawrence: Well, the type of chicks
  2. So I am getting into stud. I play pretty much live only. I'm trying to remember what other's upcards were. I am counting ones relative to me on that hand. So If I start with 3 clubs, I count clubs that are out, if I start with a TJK I count how many queens are out. Since I'm not that great at it, I usually take the 1 seat because1. I get my 3 card hand first I know what to look for quicker.2. Other players can fold their hands (garbage hands get folded MUCH quicker) until I make my action, giving me a longer time to look at what's out there. Now, if I'm there long enough, 1 seat eventually
  3. Aight, how about this example?A24K suit on the king. Pretty much playable from any position right? I'm in early position here.Flop comes 4K4 for fours full of kings. My thoughts are: GAS PEDAL!! beacuse..There will be no quad redraw against me.I have the currently best fours full, and the redraw only ties me if someone chases with a A4. (They'd be 0% to win, 2 outs to tie)Backdoor nut low draw.Only thing that can beat me is someone drawing with a pocket pair. If they spike, so be it. I'd rather have them stay when I clearly have the best of it. Right? Or should I chase them away?Any that
  4. First off, thank you all for your replies. The duece is the most often played with the ace, should I or should I not assume that they share it? If the duece pops and they go into a raising war, it would be obvious what I am up against, but that's not a terrible card for me. Yes, I have a one outer for quads as my only high draw, but unless I am specifically up against A234, A235, or A245 I have the best low draw, with both of them counterfitted twice. Let me figure out the pot odds here... AKA flop, 2 on turn.4.5 BB after flop, I check on the turn, but most likely action is bet and raise
  5. So here's a tricky part of omaha that I'd like to discuss. I call any full house with the three cards lower ranking that the two cards as "inverted" KKKAA or 55522, etc.Resorts Casino, East Chicago. 11PM on a Friday night. Limit, Omaha 8 or better.6 callers before me in the big blind, look down at: KK36 out of the big blind.Check, of course.Flop comes Ah-Kh-As.Tricky situation right? Only hand beating you now is Ace with case King and quad aces. I'll likely hear from them right on the flop. But, both aces are probably out there, which means I am going up against 2 players both with trip
  6. My guess for the result..You got quartered, Small blind made a straight, to the 7 I think, played 3-7, or 8 high with a garbage 7-anything.UTG got a quarter of it with Queens up and busted heart draw, but also the nut low?Raising preflop would be ok, just the hand isn't all that strong, so I think you played it right. One of my moves to confuse my table is raising here, not so much to take down the pot, but:I want the button, I want nobody acting behind me with this type of 1 way hand.Since I'm most likely only drawing for half, I want to feed the pot now to make a runner runner low draw wort
  7. Guys, thanks for the reply. Addagirl, do you remember what day of the week and times you checked? My experience of live Omaha H/L had about 50% retired age, and 90% in their 40's and above. Which meant they are up hella early, the list gets going around 7am, game starts around 10am. Which meant for me being the night owl, sleep 8pm til 4am or stay up all night the night before and go from there... (latter being much more frequent) Not the best conditions, but it was a great source of experience, and nice income. But this is Vegas, which never sleeps anyways, so does the game continue with
  8. hey yall. I'm bumping this. Are these lists still accurate? And what day of the week? The game I'm used to in Detroit only happened twice a week (Wed/Sat) and kind of a mix bag of players on Saturadays, pretty identical on Wednesdays. And inform me on the Treasure Island mixed game. what games do they play? still 3/6 or other limits?
  9. The female player at that table was Kristi "Mixed Game" Gazes. She won the FTP invitational at the Winn last year. She made a comment where the the tournament structure to decide the best player in the world should be a collection of 5 or 6 games, and no limit holdem at the final table. I guess the $50K H.O.R.S.E. event this year will decide it. Look for her to be in contention.
  10. If I were your opponent, here is my thought process. Ok, I have 4 lows double suited, three handed it should be fairly strong. Because so many hands were mucked in front of me, there must not have been too many aces dealt, which means that there is at least one but probably two aces still alive in the deck. Ace would give me a nut low draw, but the 236 is probably good enough 3 handed for the low side anyways. Why don't I just raise here on the button and try to steal the blinds? I have a fairly strong hand anyways and should I get called, I don't mind seeing the flop at all.If that happe
  11. I'll tell you what's all F'd up, I started a H.O.R.S.E. freeroll tournament at 330am on full tilt, I just got done. Placed second!! I crushed my opponent in Razz and OHL, he killed me in stud though. second out of 780... Sweet! Now good night.
  12. Thanks. And I didn't mention this but I do realize I caught lucky the last 3 rounds, I was more likely to lose than win, so mucking after that raise probably was correct. What I meant after third street was that the table was pretty unassertive, meaning no one was bluffing for ante steals. I think the last complete was 4 or five hands ago, they had 54A I think. I doubt I will come across a table that unagressive once I get in real money tables.Another thing I need help with is starting hands. I've been playing more than researching, so I haven't seen any razz strategy sites. (not yet anywa
  13. 10/20 Play Money Razz. Trying to learn straightforward play. I am trying to get in as many hands in as possible, 2-8 handed. I am not sure if play money is the best place to find serious players who actually try to play, but this table was pretty good about it for a while. I am looking for advice on reads, odds, correct plays.Seat 1: Villian (585)Seat 3: Hero (853)Seat 5: Meh 1 (2,598)Seat 6: Meh 2 (3,881)Everyone antes.*** 3RD STREET ***Dealt to Villian [9d]Dealt to Hero [Qh 4s] [6h]Dealt to Meh 1 [8c]Dealt to Meh 2 [6s]Villian is high with [9d]Villian brings in for 3Hero calls 3Meh 1 fol

  15. can you guys explain what these programs provide besides a play-by-play of a game? I guess it could provide hands played percentages through every street for you and your opponents? what else? I'm pretty curious. I looked on the pokertracker's site but their explaination was too vague... and how much is it btw? Also, I have figured out that I can get "hand history" through the whole session on fulltilt. versues FCP, I can only get one hand's worth. is there a function to get the entire session for FCP?
