subsin 0
freeze out can be 1000 players, while a sit n go is usually one table, there can be a 5-table sng but a mtt is usually hunderds of entrants

FourFlusher 0
Ah, thanks.Let me see if I understand...any tourney is basically a freeze out if there are no rebuys? So, a freeze out isn't a particular kind of tourney?

psujohn 0
Apples and oranges.SNG just means a tourney that starts once a certain number of people have entered. The opposite would be a scheduled tourney that starts at a given time regardless of how many have registered.
FourFlusher 0
So, the WSOP main event was a freeze out? Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. Some how I got it in my mind a freeze out must be a special type of game, looks like it's every tourney that has no rebuys. Thanks again.

nhlfan 0
I always thought a freeze out was where you played until you won your table and then combined with the winners from other tables, maybe (probably) I'm just an idiot.Peace
