  1. I propped for Poker Mountain before the Heavy Construction. Variance is through the roof. Expect the prop money to be nothing more than a cute cushion, you need to make (maintain?) your money through playing. Not recommended unless you know for a fact you can win consistently playing HU, 2 tables, usually against people eager to play HU.
  2. I do this.I just like to have steady liquid funds in my bank account, but in all honesty, it also protects me on those crazy days when I used to have a bad run and try and push through it. It keeps my bankroll modest enough to get past my stupidity and remind me that I need to stop after I lose a reasonable amount of money. In other words, a smaller loss technically hurts more, so it's an automatic stop-loss, rather than relying on my poor judgment. On the flip side, it has created a stop-win for myself too. Which is bad. But it adds to my comfort level knowing that I'm good for $300-$400

  6. No....get off the conspiracy theories you fishcake.A pair beats a straight right?
  7. That's all I need, I'm not particularly lazy, just the "search" portion of the forum didn't quite work. Thanks a lot!
  8. I am simply wondering if anyone has some good links, or knows of good books on short-handed play. I very much appreciate any and all input.
  9. CallAssuming AE is the kind of guy that would, in fact, fold his BB for 4800 more chips (as is proposed), he is the kind of guy who would wait for a hand he feels is ahead to call your all-in with. In which case, unless you hit a "perfect" hand where AE thinks he has the best of it, and you actually do, or suck hime out, your waiting would only get you some blinds until the hammer drops. This is similar to, and even more dire than the Paul Phillips, Dewey Tomko HU at some WPT final table. Dewey was ready willing and able to go in with any 2 because of the gross chip disparity. Paul folded, a
