  1. Phil Hellmuth said it in an interview unfourtunately I cant remeber which one. DN said that there was a chop offered but he was the only one who refused so logically when he was out there would have been a chop at that point. Also, during the whole WPT vs players thing there was a point in DN's video blog where he said that it looked like it was about to get ugly because some lawyers for the WPT were planning to sort of smear one of the 6 players suing the WPT (of which Annie was one) by releasing some tax returns from one of the players that showed that they didnt win as much as they said the
  2. I don't "know" through gossip about the TOC chop, I know because Phil Hellmuth said that there was a chop and so did Daniel Negreanu.
  3. I just watched an interview that Annie Duke did on www.pokernews.com regarding the UB cheating scandal. She made some convincing arguments for the fact that the situation was just one bad egg and the new ownership has handled it properly. The problem however is this, first of all it's basically the same thing that happened on AP and they are or were owned by the same company/person. The other problem is that I can't take Annie Duke at her word because I met her once and asked her why so Phil Hellmuth was so mad at the TOC that she won, she told me that he was mad because he lost to her and didn
  4. I can't believe people still play on Absolute Poker, when is the poker community going to stand up to crooked sites like these? You vote with your dollar and playing on sites like AP is like saying it's ok to cheat and steal from the poker community because they're just so dumb and greedy they'll come back, all you have to do is get a high bad beat jackpot going. Ridiculous.
  5. I like sportsbook.com just because it has the cleanest format.P.S.That just might be the best avatar ever.
  6. I didnt say the pot was big, I said there were six players in the pot, the player could have called a bet in second not knowing what the 4 players behind him will do. This was from an actual hand I played the other day where the board was Ks-6s-2h and a player called a bet in second pos on the flop with 5h-2d. Maybe I'm so bad at limit that I don't realize that this is the correct play. But at this point I feel confident to say it is not.
  7. On the heels of Daniels braclet win in LH, I just got to wondering what the sate of limit hold'em cash games is these days. It seems to me that the NL games are drying up a bit and I wonder if this sets up limit for a bit of a resurgance. Also it seems to me that the worst players in limit cash games nowadays are worse than the worse players in the NL cash games. I think the reason is that at this point all the really bad players in NL have either busted out or improved their game. I remember playing in a NL cash game in Vegas about 3 years ago and it was common to see a player with top pair p
