Just wonder what the official company line is or will be now that Party and Stars have basically come out and said they will not bedoing business with U.S. residents shortly?

I'll give a quick response as Krup has requested. These are my own personal feelings. In the short term nothing has changed and the new legislation to my understanding doesn't change whether playing poker is legal or not for Americans. There's a 270 day time period for the banking industry to comply with the regulations and they are strongly opposed to this.We don't know what the fallout will be but the On Game Network has a much higher percentage of non-American players then most of the other large sites do.To my knowledge the current plan for both FCP and the ON Game Network is to continue to allow Americans to play but I haven't heard anything officially.

There are links in a couple of other threads. Party is confirmed pretty much. Stars...only what was on gambling911.com or something.
Party has made it official with a filing they made with the London Stock Exchange this morning, stating that they would withdraw their U.S. business when the bill is signed.http://www.londonstockexchange.com/LSECWS/...&source=RNSPacific also made it official: :club:http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15095619/Stars has not made an official decision yet. Lee Jones made a post this morning at PocketFives stating the following:http://www.pocketfives.com/9FEF5CAC-8289-4...AFCD5B87B0.aspxParadise/SportingBet initially indicated that they were going to follow 888.com's lead, but they have since gone back on that, deciding instead to stay in the U.S. market until further notice:http://www.gambling911.com/Online-Poker-Pa...ker-100206.htmlI have been looking, but have been unable to find any official word or notice from anyone at OnGame. It appears that UB, WSEX, Bodog and Absolute are staying in the U.S. market no matter what.FWIW, I deposited and played at both UB and Paradise this morning with no problems.

The poker sites that come out and say they are staying in the US will reap the benefits like no other. How many players are gonna be shut out at Party, Pacific, and 888.com? MILLIONS.I WANT TO HEAR SOMETHING OFFICIAL FROM ONGAME. FCP Bob said what he said...and that is cool...but in the end, it's gonna be Ongame's decision.

It is more than a little disturbing that there has been no official position from Ongame. All of the major sites have made statements to their customers. Daniel has been very quick to pop off when he feels others have been wrong about positions they have taken. How about some word from him now about his site.

As Info posted in another thread, DN no longer "owns" Fcp.He won't be making any policy statements on this one.Anything we hear will have to come from ongame, and if past experienceis any indication, their statement will probably freeze and crash half wayin to them stating it...

While I recognize that Daniel does not “own” FCP, his name and image are the anchors of this site. Any action by Ongame will certainly reflect on his name and reputation. Given the way he has passed judgment on other players actions and the actions of American politicians, I would have thought that he could post some statement as the “spokesman” for this site. The only statement we have from Daniel since this action is a review of his fantasy hockey draft.

Here is a statment that reflects FCP's position.Full Contact Poker is aware of the recent online gaming news coming out of Washington D.C. and remains business as usual. The United States Congress has recently passed legislation that aims to make it illegal for U.S. banks to process transactions related to online gaming. It does not, however, change the legality of individuals playing online games such as poker. We want to assure you that the games at Full Contact Poker are still available and that you can continue to enjoy the site as always.Full Contact Poker is legally regulated and licensed in Curacao and will continue to offer its services to anyone around the world. Your funds are completely safe and secure and you are welcome to play with or withdraw your funds at anytime as usual. Our highest priority is to offer you the best player service possible. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. If anything changes, we’ll certainly let you know.

He's already posted his thoughts and opinions on the law, in the generalforum in a thread asking if he could be charged for his involvement.I'm sure you can find it if you look.

Why haven't all of the Ongame skins given official statements or contacted their members through email yet? This is outrageous that they are keeping everyone in the dark about this issue.
