  1. i was actually wondering the same thing. his 2-4 sh video i thought was pretty good and i was thinking about subscribing even though the price is pretty steep.
  2. the dealers choice tourney is pretty fun, but the ring games a super dead
  3. i dont understand. there is no way you arent ahead. isnt this an automatic raise?
  4. i think i mentioned the forum when i was talking about that strange game daniel wrote about. if i was staying the night i would have stayed. that table was pretty fun, even though i only played like five hands. i really havent been that card dead in a while. i caught a lot more hands on the 5/10, but i wasnt playing very well. i think i was talking too much to that tool on my right. he wouldnt shut up about how long he had been playing and how he is writing a poker book. what a unique idea. when are you going back? i was thinking of going this sunday and monday.
  5. hey that was me. i got killed that night. i couldnt even catch a break at 4/8. i kept showing you all my **** hands. there was that guy that was raising almost every pot and arguing with his friends about going back to ac. remember back at 5/10 that guy that got pissed cause that retard on my left limped with kings? pretty hilarious when that guy on my right and you limped with kings just to **** with him.
  6. no argument, just sammys kings cracked barrys aces after they put it all in preflop. something a little under 300k in the pot i think
  7. i live in boston but usually at foxwoods on mondays or tuesdays playing the 5/10 kill. i played the O8 2/4 there once and wanted to tear my eyes out of my skull the play was so slow. no one had any idea what they had, and it took like twenty minutes a hand for the dealer to sort out what the eight callers had at the end.
  8. good luck harry. your posts about the wsop were the most interesting here in a long time. i wish you the best on the final table. im always glad to see you go far.
  9. i think the site is a great idea and i hope it works out. has anyone here played on it? are there any signup bonuses anyone has? is anyone here an affiliate there? i was thinking of checking it out sometime tonighttyler
  10. maybe its just the times that ive gone in the past few months but ive felt like the 5/10 has dried up considerably during the week. the last couple times i was there the kill came out only about 2 hands an hour. the new room seems even more stagnant with less people wandering off the table games. this goes for the 10/20 there as well. weekends are probably better, but i wouldnt know.
  11. ive been checking my weaker hands and just raising the flop but i think youre right. its better to just raise preflop and continue. the only reason not to is that it really makes them think that you could have any hand when the more trashy flops come, but if theyre betting out no matter what this line of thinking is just wasted.
  12. i actually did this during september and october last year on my laptop. i probably played about 30 hours a week 8 tabling 2/4 on party and my winrate was a little over 1bb/100. i dont really consider myself that great of a player so you might be able to expect something a little higher if you are concentrating and think you have the skills. although if you are concentrating i think you cant really keep up with this too long, because its pretty draining. personnally i found it pretty boring, because you basically have to play straight up sshe style, and not spend too much time thinking about y
  13. ive been seeing this move a lot more lately and was wondering how you guys have been dealing with it. basically what happens is it gets folded around to the blinds and instead of the sb raising he just completes and then leads out at the flop no matter what comes. does anyone on here do this move? does it work? id also like to hear any thoughts about raising out the bb when its completed versus just checking and raising the flop when he characteristically leads out. PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is BB with J:diamond:, 4:diamond:. 5 folds, SB
  14. i dont think its so bad, your cutoff for hands in ep is aj and mine is kq. really not that big of a difference. im similar with low pp as well. i will either rse or fold with 77 depending on my feel of the table. if im folding then im usually leaving pretty soon. as for the other guy that limps with ak and aq, we are vastly different my friend. id be interested in seeing how well this works for you.
  15. hmm this is interesting. whats the worst thing youll openrse with in mp with no reads on the table?
