I just wanted to know how Poker sites tried to monitor collusion. I'm new to the site but would like to know if there is actually staff who just monitor screens looking for chip dumping etc.? Even if there is a team of people, are these people actually paying attention 24/7. Are they guys who really monitor this??When sites say they monitor??How do they really monitor??Just a general thing I would like to know for my own safe play on any poker site including this one.thanks.

Look for it yourself and then report it.They say they have standards to detect collusion, but that isn't to say you can avoid those.

i doubt your playing high limits anyone dumb enough to collude at low limit poker deserves anything they win lol you have n0thing to worry about except yourself

I just wanted to know if there are actually staff who are paid to just watch online poker players play.When a site says they monitor collusion, is it only done when a player like myself reports it. Or is there a person or computer program that gives the sitemanager red flags to monitor if it does happen on a site.I always wanted to know if there are security measures such as this for any poker site.I can imagine the number of tables being played at any given time, that it would be a difficult task to monitor.Anybody from FCP would like to ellaborate??Inquistive minds would like to know.

I am amazed every day by the laziness of people asking questions.Google is your friend. It took me .879 seconds to find this, simply by googling pokerroom and collusion.http://www.pokerroom.com/about/"At PokerRoom.com, each player's cards are sent exclusively to that particular player's computer – the cards can therefore not be viewed from anywhere else. All game activities are logged and saved in PokerRoom.com's database. We are therefore able to analyze the hands in the game log, and search for suspicious playing patterns.Management will thoroughly investigate all possible complaints registered by players suspecting collusion. Hand history transcripts are available for all players and will show the exact betting of each game and the final hands of all players that called the river card. Any player that attempts to collude at PokerRoom.com will be permanently banned from our games.As an extra security measure, it is not possible for two players with the same IP number (on the same computer or same network) to play at the same table.The PokerRoom.com support staff are always available when collusion activities are suspected. One of the easiest thing for the poker sites to monitor is how often people play together. If the same four people play the same SNG's all the time they would get nailed.Don't sweat it. He's just a bored 14 year old WHO TALKS REAL LOUD.

Ive been reading so much about online collusion lately, like most said on here...unless you are at the really high limits....shouldnt worry.As for the little boy and his roomates playing 4-5 players at a time on UB, doubt it. They would pick that up extra quick.
