  1. Ah ha, but I assumed that such an egregious assault on the English language must have been a series of typos, rather than grammatical errors, because I refused to believe that someone paid to write would have been oblivious to proper construction. My guess would be a sticky keyboard was the culprit. If I'm lacking anything, it's realistic expectations, not reading comprehension.
  2. PokerStars Cardroom Rules ... #7 seems to encompass the basic idea, though you could argue (I suppose) that it is meant only to cover players seated at the table.Good luck arguing with #5 on FullTilt, however... FullTilt Site RulesIt doesn't have to say "one player to a hand" in bright lights with flashing bulbs to be covered by a site's rules.
  3. Anyone think this will have an impact on whether banks will process third-party checks like the ones Bodog is using for payouts?
  4. Had $30K in BB... SB has $15K... he pushes JT... I call with AK... he spikes J on river (6 outs). Ugh. So instead of $45K and being way above average, I'm trying to limp into the money.
  5. Little slick is KQ suited, not 23 suited. So what is A2?
  6. That's the legit design. Was there in April, and unfortunately that's the highest denomination I saw during my trip, so I know it well. Maybe I'll fly out and we can both splash around in the kiddie pool.
  7. Wouldn't the odds of getting the same exact hand be 2/52 * 1/51 for each player, regardless of who had what hand previously? All things beind random (presumably), I don't think you can take into account when computing odds just how bizarre it is for the same two players to have the same two hands; I think you can only calculate the odds of each player individually getting the same hand twice in a row... Then it would be weird, but not quite as big a longshot as the lottery.
  8. Go to the Anchor Bar. Also grab a DiBella's sub (known in Northern CT and parts of Mass. as "grinders"). See the Falls. Don't go into the Falls Casino unless you want to donate your profits to rake. Buffalo Wild Wings is good. Stop by Lancaster and my grandmother-in-law-to-be will whip you up some Polish sour cream cookies with anise. If you zip down about an hour south to Jamestown you can visit Lucille Ball's home.Have fun!
  9. GMan,What are you doing up in Ithaca? You're not one of those Cornellians, are you?
  10. Anybody else have to do a Bank Account Verification Form? I already tried the search function to answer my question, but my research skills suck. Anyway, I've cashed out several times at BoDog without incident, then suddenly received an e-mail saying they had information that my information was similar to another account, and requesting that I fax account information and a photo ID. Never had this happen at any site. What the dilly?P.S. I threw in the "dilly" hoping to get flamed. Fire away.
  11. I might fold 2 7, 2 8, or 3 8 with no clubs. I'd call anything else. Might make a case that spiking a 2, 3 or 8 could win you the pot with just a pair, but I might save the dollar and laugh it off if my 6-outer underpair (4-outer if he has a club) would have been good.
  12. Is 25 percent of flops seen tight? I'm usually around 12 percent in NL games, so my butt must be puckered.
  13. This phenomenon was discussed at length when the forum first launched, and I recommend keeping an actual log of your hands so that you see how the odds regress back toward the mean as the hands pile up.I began at PokerStars by having pocket aces cracked 12 times in the first 14 times I received them, through a combination of making it too cheap for drawers (though still not giving odds, of course) and getting sucked out on. I've had streaks with all my cards (dominating hands losing several times in a row; 0 for 7 in coinflips in a tourney after becoming chipleader) but all-in-all, the number
  14. I actually wasn't being sarcastic. Otherwise i would have put the <sw> thingy in there with one of these guys ( ) You have a good SNG record and I like the fact that it's usually an easy trip through the bubble at BoDog. Tell you what... just give me your screen name so I can avoid your table whenever possible.
