is johnny bax lying?

Recommended Posts

I'm not trying to stir anything up here, just looking for some opinions. I posted this in reply to an earlier topic, but no one replied, so I figured I'd start a new topic in hopes of getting some opinions.Someone posted these results for Johnny Bax in another thread:http://www.thepokerdb.com/player.php?id=4757Now I had never really heard of this guy before I heard he won the Stud tournament despite never having played Stud before, so I decided I'd check out his results. I found it quite interesting when I scrolled down and saw a 1st place finish in a 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo Tourney last July. Now I understand that Hi/Lo is a different game, but I thought it was funny that he never mentioned this. What do you guys think?

Maybe he didn't think it was worth mentioning. However, looking at his results for MTTs, IMPRESSIVE is an understatement. This guy never takes a beat early in a tournament and busts out before the first break, wow I can only imagine.

someone played the tournament for him once when he was near the top of the TLB for the month but had to be out of town.
Thank you. I actually thought about this possibility, but I'm glad somebody could actually clear it up.
