  4. From Tao of Poker....Event #31 Shorthanded: Dario is the chipleader with 4 to go. One of my European sources mentioned that Dario is in the middle of a horrendous losing streak playing pit games at the Wynn. The former Magic the Gathering champion apparently has a jones for action. Degenadario was rumored to be stuck six figures... all away from the poker tables (both live and online). First place pays $528K. I hope that's enough to get everyone's favorite Italian wunderkind unstuck. In the meantime, Dario has been desperately trying to collect debts all week from various online players and ci

  7. I think that big stacks tend to end up on one table because in order to become a big stack they had to eliminate someone, and as they eliminate a player a player is randomly put onto the table while the big stacks stay put. Also as play goes on big stacks may accumulate because they're more likely to survive then any small stack moved to the table.
  8. So I was at the Edgewater Casino in Vancouver tonight and there was a couple guys there that knew each other that when they got heads up in a hand would just check it down with a verbal agreement heard by the whole table. I brought this to the floor's attention and they ruled that this was acceptable behaviour. Am i Just being an ******* by pointing out that this isn't cool and bringing it to the floor's attention. Is there anything you can do after the floor rules against you in this case. The example I would give is that there was preflop raising, the flop came out ace high there was a bet an
  9. was it just me or was idoubleL pretty passive, on that earlier aa on a k6759 board was the check on the river a good play...
  10. Well to add my reads to the hand Nikela had been pretty solid and tight in the tourney so I though he had a pretty good hand there. The elk guy on the other hand was the biggest donkey ever. Seemed like if i folded there's a chacne I move up in the money, if elk happens to win he's itching to give me all those chips anyway, plus i figured it turned out it would of been good to call the first hand so the odds of my hand being that good were slim in this one lol.....
  11. and in fitting fashion i bust out 3rd with jj vs ak.....
