WestcoastCanuck 0
The Sabres have agreed to terms with Teppo Numminen, which gives my boys some very much needed help on Defense.Excellent signing. He is a sturdy defencemen, and he is the definition of the egoless player you were hoping for. Who doesn't love Numminen?

WestcoastCanuck 0
I don't follow the East as closely as the West, but I really think the Sabres are in an excellent position for this season. They seemed to be going in a more offensive direction before the lockout, and with the rule changes now in place they could really thrive. They remind me of the Canucks a few years ago: a young, close knit core of players who are extremely talented. The one question mark I have is why they seem content holding three NHL ready goalies in the salary cap era. I guess one of them will make good trade bate near the trade deadline. Now that he has another absolutely stellar season in the AHL under his belt, he's probably ready to challenge for the #1 spot, or share it with Biron. Noronen is a damn fine goalie though, they should get good value for him if they trade him.
