triple draw question

i wasn't sure where to post a question about triple draw so i decided to give general a try.when ur playing triple draw a-5 and u get dealt the wheel..how should u play it?the betting was capped before the draws and obviously i was calling.but after i stand pat and it checks to me am i just betting all the way?i checked the 1st draw and bet down the rest of the hand but only got one person to call me (he was drawing 2 all the way) but...just not sure if i played it right. thanks.

doesnt make sense to stand pat and then check. you have to bet/raise the whole way

Bet the whole way, people stand pat with smooth 7's etc all the time. It'll be suspicious as hell if you don't bet/raise.If you're worried you won't get enough action, try drawing 4 on the second draw to mix things up a little and add some deception to your game.Good luck.

NL 2-7 single draw is one of my favorite live games.Tough to find good games though.
