BigDMcGee 3,352
I heard it was a really good book in terms of spirituality. Anyone read it?Um, in once sense it is, it's good for like a young person, who has no exposure to Eastern thought to read, to get a feel of what Tao is. On the other hand, it's really watered down, and I'd imagine any real practiconer of Tao to be insulted by the book ( unless taking offense to having your intelligence and spirituality insulted is far beneath the Taoist, which it probably is. It's just another way to get the name and spirituality out there, which brings in more believers. The hope is that by keeping the book out there, those interested in Taoism will continue to look for other books, thus finding less "watered down" material.
