However when a person asks others to help, as in praying for someone and you do not believe in prayer, please just ignore their request. It is never wrong to pray and ask God for health for yourself or another person. And yes, sometimes God does change His mind. In Genesis He was going to distroy the Children of Israel because of their disobedience and Moses prayed and ask God to spare them. In answer to Moses' prayer, God did spare them.
