psujohn 0
Playing .10/.20 live - 9 players who range from very loose to semi-loose.I have around 9 in front of me, both others have me covered.I have Ah9h - don't remember the PF action but there's around $6 in the pot with 3 players seeing the flop. Probably something like: MP raises to .75, I call, SB raises to $2, MP calls, I call. SB checks's dark.Flop: Kh, Qh, 9xMP checks, I bet $4.Both villains fold. MP asks what I had and I tell him and there's general amazement that I'd bet that flop that strongly.I know the PF is light. My stack is too small to justify calling here but these guys just love to pay off, I hadn't seen anything decent all night, and well just give me the pre-flop action without too much complaint. Is the flop bet reasonable? With so little behind I could even see pushing but I can't imagine checking behind here. Too much of my limit background coming through or ok?
Scott3705 0
How much did you have behind? I'd be w/ a push just to hopefully take it down if neither of them have anything, or atleast to deepend the stacks and get soem action goin.
simo_8ball 0
Seems fine. I don't mind a push, but there's nothing wrong with $4.
psujohn 0
MP folded a gutshot that would have hit (lots of rabbit hunting in this game). UTG is of course an unknown but I don't figure MP for anything better than 2nd pair and I have gobs of outs against that. I went 4 rather than pushing mostly because bets in this game are typically small compared to the pot. The average guy would likely bet $2 into this $6 pot with TPTK. Lots of odds to chase. Unfortunately my draws kept missing. And MP (who I always thought was a decent player) was amazed that I folded A8o on an A high flop with a potential flush draw after a bet and a raise in front of me.
