Jordan 1
why overbet turn?push out a draw? push out an overpair?make him think you're on a draw?heh.i might re-pop this PF given how he seems to want to play more preflop than postflop, and then try and get it all in on the flop or the turn.as played..i dont know what I think about the turn bet...and im trying not to think based off results, but I dont really like overbetting here, given the fact that his range is so wide and he could fold a lot of hands we "want" calling.i think if you play AA like this post flop you should get more money in preflop.- Jordan
Zach6668 513
I edited it a bit for you Jordan.
PoppinFresh 0
I would definitely reraise preflop against someone that looseDon't see much point in the turn overbet...
Jordan 1
I would definitely reraise preflop against someone that looseDon't see much point in the turn overbet...and notice how low his aggression is...i dunno how much we get outta him postflop unless he hits something big, while not crushing us.big being TPTK or something, or a set and then we go bye bye.- Jordan

I will say that AA gets most of its value preflop. But I understand the line here. 3-betting really announces your hand and then if you get the chips in post flop, you're probably beat. simo_8ball 0
I don't mind the slow play preflop and the flop play, but I dislike the overbet on the turn. Bet $45.
psujohn 0
I keep running my AA into flopped sets so I'm probably biased. Given SB's PF raise I'd discount the possiblity of 22 or 33 but 99 could think you're stealing. Overall though I'd be leaning more toward JJ-KK with the min-raise PF. I probably bet a little more on the flop like $25. If vilain calls I likely bet half pot if checked to on the turn. I'm hating life if villain check raises the turn. But then again I keep running my AA into flopped sets.

leducks2004 0
The overbet on the turn doesnt make sense. I agree with the 45-50 dollar bet
JMoney2681 0
Well obviously Zach had a reason to overbet the turn...Do you mind telling us Zach? I'm just curious...
Zach6668 513
He seemed like a curious calling station. He called the turn bet, and folded the river getting like 3-1 on my push...lolol

See, I knew you had to have some type of read to make a bet that big. NH sir.A couple big hearts maybe?Logically it has to be AK or AQ hearts, youre right about that. But I've seen so many donkey plays in NL.I believe it was Sklansky who said, "Most good players tend to think logically when analyzing a hand or deciding whether to call or fold, but the problem is that most other small stakes players do NOT think logically." It was some funny classic stuff. That donkey in Zach's hand couldve had A4 or 44 no hearts, wouldn't surprise me, lol.
