Let's Hear It For The Moster Posterized Nba'er Ever!

How bout some love for the most posterized player in basketball history Craig Ehlo - if anyone ever watched the whole game they'd see he played great that nightJordan3.jpgehlojordan_200_greatest.jpgehlo_jordan_040610.jpgMy best basketball memory was not the shot I was involved with Michael Jordan. [He laughs]I’m sure everyone asks you about that.CE: That is actually one of my favorite memories, but I won a game on December 23, and you can ask Joe Tait about it. We beat the Utah Jazz on a last second shot with 1.3 seconds left. I threw the ball into [brad] Daugherty, he threw it right back to me because no one guards the guy throwing it in, and sure enough he threw it right back to me. I was behind the three-point line, I let it go, and it went in. Joe Tait called it so well on the radio. His call was “The Cavs win, the Cavs win it. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and he comes from Lubbock, Texas.” Hitting that shot in Cleveland, two days before Christmas was my best basketball memory.

Yeah but how many thousands of times has that clip of jordan hitting that shot over jordan been showed? At least Brian Russell can claim he was shoved
thats not the definition of posterized though. he played defense on the guy that made one of the most notorious shots in nba history. that aint a poster. carter over that frenchmen? that's a poster.

Sort of true I just meant poor Craig Ehlo - he was a pretty good player and all he is known for is chasing Jordan all around the court for years because those idiots traded ron harper - plus that last second shot is a poster where you can see ehlo hit his top and jordan just an inch higher before he lets goI miss John StarksI love that Erving DunkI would say the most in your face moment in history was the Jordan first title - I could dunk on you but i'll fake it switch to my left hand and make a lefty layup -

The most impressive dunk is clearly Vince jumping over the 7-footer with Shaq bringing the whole hoop down in 2nd place. My favorite dunks in that group are Pippen over Ewing and Jordan over Ewing. Ricky Davis and John Starks don't deserve to be in that group.
Best dunk ever. No question. End of discussion. That was easily the best dunk in the history of basketball.

I love the new Jordan commercial.

I also like how he came thisclose to knocking out one of his teammates with his celebratory fist pump.

I'll still take this dunk by Hakim Warrick. He didnt jump completely over the guy, but he jumped from about half way between the 3pt line and the lane.thewarrickdunk33xg.pnghak9542nd4rw.jpgYou can see how far he took off from in this video, but its near the end and takes mad long to load.

sorry, that distinction belongs to shawn bradleyyao ming a close second
I'm likely to agree about Shawn Bradley, but you're absolutely wrong about Yao.That comment is made mostly by people who never watch Yao play and know nothing about the game. Has he been posterized? Sure, but so has every good center in NBA history. It's the nature of the position. The center is suppose to challenge everything at the rim. I cant count how many times I've seen Mutumbo, one of the best defensive centers in NBA history, posterized. He challenges everything. Thats one of the main reasons Bradley got posterized so often. I've watched almost all the Rockets games, and I can actually only remeber only a handful of times Yao got posterized in his career (once against Kobe and another time in Yao's rookie year when Marbury made him fall down). Actually Mutumbo gets posterized far more often. This is mainly due to Mutumbo focusing only on blocks and camping right under the rim so often. Yao is usually guarding a pick and roll out on the perimeter and is attempting to make his way back to the basket so he's usually not in position to get posterized.Dont believe everything some dumbass sport writer says about Yao. They love to rag on him for some reason. I still dont know why.

Exactly. My favorite player during his prime was Alonzo Mourning. I would say he is easily in the top 3 "posterized" players of his era... but for every poster he blocked 2 dunks.Nature of the position
