  1. i played 1-2NL last night, $200 max buy-in at Harrah's New Orleans last night... and I found out it was a time charge rake... $6 every half-hour. does this seem absurd to anyone?
  2. i think youre in for a huge surprise dr. zebra. i hope youre able to walk tomorrow.
  3. i can beat them, but so can everyone when it turns into a card-catching contest. mk wasnt trying to be funny, he was being a fag. rarely in hold'em are people calling huge bets while drawing dead, unless you flop quads. of course everyone loves bad players, but its really hard to hold off 8 or 9 idiots calling you every hand with one overcard or backdoor flush draws. even if youre 3:1 to win in a given situation, you have to be lucky to win all 4 times. if that one time you lose to a moron who has more chips than you, its over.
  4. wasn't trying to be funny, was actually trying to accurately describe your life. but i do like how you replied 2 minutes after i posted. i thought it would be hard to click the refresh button that fast with all that lube on your fingers.
  5. sounds like somebody is a little pissed off because they tried playing poker online as a job thinking it would be a great way to not have to ever get out of bed. however dr.zebra is finding out that depositing his unemployment checks into neteller so he can play $25 tables on partypoker is not as a reliable source of income as say, getting a real job.but all dr. zebra really needs is his laptop and his online girlfriend who lives in sweden (but really a 35-yr old guido from new jersey) to be happy in life. and a jar of vasoline.
  6. do you even know how to play poker? think before you post things, you sound like an idiot.
  7. heres my favorite MTT structure, its very similar to partypoker and bodog. the structure goes like this:blinds go up every hand. antes before every round of betting. even if youre not in the hand. there is no fold button. noone uses it anyway. if you limp in with ace-rag, and someone raises, you have to go all-in, no calling or folding. because you need to know for sure that youre dominated before you put all your chips in.
  8. im starting to wonder why i even bother with partypoker or bodog tournaments. unless you get a really good table, people just do not fold. if youre reading this, and im describing your MTT style of play, please kill yourself.
  9. id bet it out like you have top pair/ weak kicker. that way anyone that thinks they have you beat might raise or at least call. and if they dont have that beat, you werent going to get any action anyway. usually if you wait until the turn to attack it will be pretty obvious you have a monster, unless youre playing against complete idiots. take this hand for example: I have AK in BB and check, flop comes Q-J-10 rainbow. Another guy has K-9... we both slowplay until the turn, he just calls my huge re-raise. the river pairs the board and makes runner-runner flush possible. we both check. i said '
  10. i prefer to limp in with any pocket pair in early position. mostly because I want somebody else to have AA,KK,or AK, and when they raise, I rather them 3x/4x the BB which is an easy call, rather then 3x/4x my original raise.in late position in an unraised pot, i like raising with any pp, how much depends on how many limpers before me. basically I narrow the field and try to make people hit a flop on me.
  11. You cant fold. I'd say he has QQ or TT. Although Im confused as to what the BB is... its says $0.50 BB but then someone posted $1.50, and you completed? As for after the flop, it seems likea. he's trying really hard to represent KQ, which I wouldn't give him credit for.b. he caught a 3rd ten on the turn, called the flop because hes a bad player.but then he could have KQ, and is a terrible player. bottom line, you cant fold here .
  12. youre no help to this forum either. All you do is constantly flame on people. you're a huge fag with too much time on your hands.
  13. why would you want to call here... just because you dont want to give up a few dollars and youre +EV everytime this happens (maybe two times a year)? theres two possible flush draws he could be freerolling you with. and yes going all-in with the freeroll (str8 + flush draw) is definitely the right thing to do. anyone with a set or two pair, which looks unlikely with AKQ10 out there and noone raising pre-flop, would just call and hope to catch the full house and bust you.
  14. you just totally contradicted yourself. youre saying 2349 is the worst because it has bad high potential... but you dont mind KQT9 even though it has no low potential whatsoever.the good thing about 2349 is that youll know on the flop if your good or not, and you can dump it without losing extra money if it doesnt hit. obviously the same can be said for KQT9. more often than not, youre going to get a marginal flop with A49J and probably stick around to see if your flush/two pair hits while also putting a 2-3 on the board. but it really all depends on who youre playing against. if hes weak and
  15. interesting, i think i understated how awful the table was. I mean not too long before this hand, I saw someone go all-in pre-flop for $200 into an un-raised pot with something like 9-10-10-Q, and got CALLED by an A-Q-Q-x(not a 2) hand. So after seeing that I pushed in with my hand. Both players called. I hit the flush on the river. unbelievably, i didnt need it, as I had the high with my pair of aces on the turn. I ended up 3/4-ing station who had the 2-4 with a lower flush draw. (good call dingas) the other guy had something pathetic like a gutshot & terrible flush draw with NO low. so
