anyone know the 1st prize at this years final event?

so the field will be three times as large as last year but first prize only doubles? That sucks!!!
I'm assuming they are playing out a LOT more places since the field is so damn huge. It's like 3 freerolls..except combined and professionals.

I doubt that is really gonna be the payout. They never pay out ten percent anymore. Look at today's tounrey there were 2305 and they only paid 200 spots. That is like 8.7 percent of the field getting paid. I think the payout schedule will be quite a bit different than that.

Want to bet?Reason today's event paid 200 is because their was a 2000 max seating with alternates.I will give you 3-1 on your money, but first, I would like to know what stipulations you have. I will respond tomorrow around 7:00pm EST.Any other takers?

Hey maybe you are right but i am just saying i doubt it, if you look at all of the tournaments lately they never pay out top ten percent it just doesn't happen. All of the wsop circuit events aren't ten percent i don't see why this would be any different.

I love the fact that everyone at the final table becomes a millionaire. Thats got to put you in a purely Zen poker zone. Im at least making a cool mil, should I freak out about busting in 9th?

its got to be tough to play poker again after coming 2nd. you lose a heads up effectively worth $3.4 million and realistically the only ever chance you'll have of being a WSOP main event champion.
