JeremyG 0
Situation 1:AA pocket UTG, 3rd hand of tourney. Raise 4xBB, fold to BB who calls.Flop is K 7 4 rainbow.I bet 2x the pot, BB raises, I call.Turn is 10. I bet pot, BB raises putting me all-in. I call, he has 10 7 offsuit.COME ON if you're gonna beat me, at least call with K10 suited preflop, not 10/7 off!! And for heaven's sake, don't raise post flop with 2nd pair!Pitiful Play Rewarded.Situation 2:AA from the BB. Middle position raises 3xBB, 2 callers, I go all-in. Middle position calls everyone else folds. He turns up A4 offsuit.Flop A/10/2Turn 3River 5I'm out. Ace rags kills me again.Situation 3:KK on BB, a couple limpers, button goes all in, putting me all-in. I call. Everyone else folds. Button shows JJ, and of course the 3rd J comes on the turn. JFarrell20 1
Those are all pretty bad. That first one is the worst. 10-7??? He could have laid down 1 bet, instead he called 3 more with that garbage hand. Then his betting is reckless. He raises w/ middle pair. Then hits two pairs and goes all in? Why doesn't he slowplay the 2 pairs here since he knows you are strong. What if you have trips?? He's gone...2nd one was bad too. Ace-4.... you mean to tell me this guy called your raise w/ two other callers behind him to act??? That's ridiculous positional playing. The third one is nothing really. Not a big deal that a trip jack hits on turn. Happens a lot. But I guess since all three were in 30 minutes, that's pretty bad.
