Down to 25 players in a $22 180 sitngo on Stars. I was in 3rd place with 18,000 in chips. Guy directly to my right is chip leader with 23,000 in chips, and he is a complete maniac who has pushed all in the past 6 consecutive hands. The two hands he did get called with he showed 83 offsuit and J4 offsuitboth of which he won, that's how he got the chip lead. Here is my question:The very next hand he pushes all in again, and I'm holding JJ.Do I call here knowing I have the best hand or do I fold and not riskmy tournament??

If you're playing to win, quick call. If you're playing to move up in money, fold and let him bust others, or bust himself...

Fold. JJ is not strong enough to go broke when you are in 3rd. Just my opinion.(sw)

Do you play to win, or make the money?

I'm calling - the chances of him have AA-QQ is slim. I'm all for getting him out and taking a substantial chip lead.

I hope this is sarcasm.

Me too..
I do play to win and I did call.He showed Q7 offsuit and in true Stars fashionhe turns the Q.
I could tell you lost by the way you posted the hand...lol. Save the results for later down the post. But of course if you are playing to win you call. You are only questioning yourself because you lost. Usually when people ask, "was this the right play," they lost. They are too results orientated. Surely if you won the hand you wouldn't be second guessing yourself and would've thought it wast the best call ever. Nice call, tough break.

It was not a quick call for me though. At first, I really contemplated foldingb/c I knew i could outplay the guy. The reason I called was that I was 99%sure that I had him smoked and had I won I would have had an enormous chip lead.
