Wsop Circuit: Caesars Indiana

Recommended Posts

With the WSOP Circuit Event fast approaching, I thought I'd start a thread and see who plans to be there for all or part of it. I personally, am planning to be there (probably) Wednesday Oct 25 - Friday Oct 27. The event is 2 weeks from Oct 19 - Nov 2 and the Main Event is at the end (obviously I won't be paying $5k to play that). Right now I'm targeting the $550 NL tournament on Thursday Oct 26 as the one I want to play in. I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to be able to buy-in directly for the full amount. I'm open to selling up to half of myself to take some of the burden off my bankroll and maybe avoid being scared money. Whether I play in the tourney or not though I definitely plan to go down there to participate in the cash games, most likely on the dates I mentioned above. I'd love to meet up with some FCPers while I'm there. If you're planning on being there feel free to respond to this thread or send me a PM and we'll try to set something up.

I was thinking about it..but have noone to go with. Dont really want to spend a week in Elizabeth, IN by myself. Now I just might go to Dublin or Niagra instead.
Dublin, obviously...and it's not close.- Jordan

I understand the sentiment, though in all fairness it's likely not in the middle of nowhere. Louisville is just minutes away. In fact, I'll likely be staying 15 miles or so from the Casino in Eastern Louisville because that's where I can get my employee discount on a hotel room (I work for Marriott). At any rate, I'd love to see you there. I'm sure I could learn a lot.

I used to go many times while I was a student at IU. It literally is in the middle of nowhere. Louisville is close by, but that isnt really a great city to be hanging out in by yourself either.

My wife is heading down for the Ladies Event but I gotta stay home so the kids can go to school. LOLShe placed 29th last year after a horrible beat (KK vs 78 suited, she had KK and was outdrawn). She wins that hand she probably makes the FT.Actually I'll probably go down also (separate from her, so SHE can watch the kids). I'm just gonna play the cash games, last year I was +1800, +700 and +400 in 3 sessions in 2 days. (playing the $1/2/NL) There are huge fish there.

Is it just me or is Lonny a James Carville look-a-like? The Ragin' Cajun!

Their website has quite a bit of good info about the poker room. I think they spread quite a few NL games and probably go pretty high during the Circuit event.

I highly doubt that the picture is the actual guy. I will bet any money it's a joke and he found the picture here. http://www.ratemybody.com/profile.aspx?id=niggapleasesomebody posted this on a different poker forum

I confess... that is my picture. I wanted some feedback on my body, is that so wrong? To me, having a great body gives me a clear advantage at the table. Since I have great musculature, I am able to withstand hour after hour "grinding it out" without fatigue. Admittedly I can be quite vain, and sorry if posting my picture made anybody jealous. Come shout out to me at the circuit event, the salad/club soda offer still stands.
