This hardly qualifies as poker, so I'll keep it in general. If you're one of those who hate gossip type things then stay away, I warn you now. Just finished watching the show and did anyone notice how many unnecessary references evelyn ng made to daniel. For example she mentioned "daniel's favorite hand, daniel says not to wear sunglasses," and one other daniel reference near the end. Just makes me wonder if she is still madly in love with the guy. I know many will flame me and say who cares about their private lives but I always found the real lives of "celebrities" fascinating. I guess they have this stigma and awe about them that just makes it hard to realize they are human beings too. I guess for my self, being in love with the same woman for about 4 years, and still no where near getting her, its comforting to see these people others idolize, feeling the same way you feel. Haha am I ghey and way too sensitive (spelled this way b/c i don't know if it is censored, not b/c i think it's cool) for thinking that way. I probably am. Anyways, just thought I'd mention this to see if anyone else thought it was interesting. If anything, itll give some of you poor chaps at work a way to kill time for 5 minutes. Oh and as an aside piece of gossip, near the end I remember cindy asked vanessa if "chad" was teaching her stud. I'm guessing thats good ole downtown chad brown, so there's another bit of national enquirer type gossip of the poker world for you. carry on

Ok you lost me after the second sentence, but I do agree that the Daniel references was kind of weird.But lets talk about the poker content.... that was the most BORING poker I've ever seen. They maybe made it all the way to the river in 1 or 2 hands. I could also sense that Cyndi Vilolette just wanted Vanessa Rousso to shhhuutttup. She would not stop talking. It seemed like they were all concerned with gossiping instead of poker.

It was really that bad. Worst poker ever. Harman was the only one who tried to make something happen, but she was beat almost all the time and she made the correct folds.You think it would be intimidating playing with pro's, but I wouldn't be the least bit scared playing in a game like that the way they were playing. I would be nervous about Harman, and maybe Violette just based on reputation, but this game was just horrible.

This is pretty brutal poker, what a bad way to end the season. Now I know why good female poker players like Annie Duke and Jen Harman don't play in WSOP/WPT lady only events. As for Evelyn I think she regrets breaking up with Daniel after seeing how successful he became, dunno just a guess.

They'll have more episodes next month. They're brand new ones, so it will be interesting to see if they spiced the show up somehow. I'm hoping they light Ali on fire, so he's less boring.Also, Daniel and Matusow should be in every show, otherwise the snooze factor is just too high.Daniel and Evelyn have dated for years and have stayed friends. Daniel coached her for last year's NBC Heads-Up tournament, and she's played against him so often before that, that it's only natural for her to often mention him when she plays. She respects his game and isn't afraid to mention it.Daniel, often talks about Jen Harman as being the best female poker player and Phil Hellmuth often mentions Annie Duke as the best. It doesn't mean they have romantic feelings for each other, but it's easy to see they all enjoy each other's company. Okay, maybe not Annie and Phil, but you get my point.
