  1. I'm heading out to Vegas for the first time this Sunday, the 17th. Might stop by the meet and greet on the 18th. Sounds pretty lame - but I'm traveling with my dad for a few days and might need some more youthful friends to hang out with for a bit.I'll be in town until Wednesday and could use some advice for places to play. I want to get into some $150 and under tournaments and $500 buy-in and under cash games. And of course, the big goal of the trip is to have a "Daniel Negreanu sighting".Hopefully will see some of you at the New York, New York on Monday.
  2. So that's why we have rules of grammar in English! I know there had to be a practical reason. jkNice report and congratulations.
  3. I have to think that $1 million is high. DN plays poker for a living - he knows he is good and he knows he has a significant edge, at least most of the time. In my opinion, based on his recent results, he even has an edge in the big game. However, for him, golf is gambling. It's like him playing blackjack or cutting cards - he's not going to run through his bankroll doing those things. I don't think he'd be willing to give $1 million when he could use that money to play in the big game.I agree that the amount must be high (and I'd really like to know what the number actually is, DN) but I think
  4. I've been playing some Razz recently in a very loose game. I have never played the game before last week but feel I have an edge in the game and am looking to exploit that edge even more.Does anyone have any solid Razz advice? - starting hands, advice on short-handed playI'm also interested in hearing about DN's Razz experiences. How much Razz does he play? Thanks guys.DAMM
  5. I have chatted with Dustin Dirksen lately and I in fact know who he is.He does go to U of Iowa Law School and is from Hampton, Iowa. His younger brother is a very good golfer and I have played with him in some tournaments. I have seen Dustin at some of his brothers tournaments and was amazed to see him playing such high limits when I joined Full Tilt this year.He is hyperaggressive and is doing well currently even though I don't think he will be able to stay at the limits he is playing at.DD is a good player but is still inexperienced. He is definitely hard to play against though due to his e
  6. I am wondering what DN will be doing for the rest of the year. I have really enjoyed hearing about his experiences in the cash games.Anybody know what his schedule is like for the rest of the year. Thanks guys.DAMM
  7. What's with putting these poker shows on the GSN? I don't understand why ESPN hasn't developed a weekly show that would air when the WSOP isn't on. It would be cool to have poker on every Tuesday night on ESPN with different formats like this "high-limit" event.I want poker. I want it on channels I get. And I want it now!Sounds pretty whiny but I can't get enough of TV poker, especially when DN is winning and losing hundreds of thousands of HIS OWN MONEY on TV. How fun is that!
