arerad 0
:wpt: Daniel posted in his journal on Wednesday December 15th..."Of course there were 376 entrants so I’d need more than focus to make it to the final nine. IF I make the final nine I’ll recapture the player of the year award and also have an excellent shot at 1.8 million… it’s going to happen. Call it over confident, call it cocky, call it what you will… I’m going to get the job done. " This was a bold statement that was delivered.....Absolutely comparable to Babe Ruth pointing to centerfield........Through the course of time, and increasing difficulty to survive poker tournaments, this quote should be remembered ! ! ! Great job Daniel...........
theKAbag 0
a little over-zealous with the censoring, now arent we mr. moderator? by the way, that word was "c o c k y." just kiddin guy, great job with the site. i just found it ironic that something actually quoted from daniel, found elsewhere on the site, was "censored."hahahaha
MSR 0
My guess is that the word was censored because of the first four letters, and any other letters coming after that don't change the fact that the first four can be seen as obscene. It seems stupid with a word like co cky, but it makes perfect sense because it prevents people from adding an extra k to the end of the f-bomb.On topic, I agree that this is the called home run of poker. I haven't been following poker long enough to know if anything like this has happened before, but knowing that you WILL make the final table of a tournament with this many entrants and knowing that if you make it that far you'll probably win it all is pretty incredible. Boothy 0
The term "easier said than done" springs to mind and while it is easier, Da Man got it done.
