George Brett "pine tar" game. Not sure what year, but MLB made them overturn the call which took away Brett's homerun, and they replayed the game from that point. So yes, it has happened, but it is pretty rare. The only time it works is when a RULE was broken or misused by an umpire, and I believe this was one of those cases. Link to post Share on other sites
