WSOP Moves APAC to October ’14, to Rotate With WSOPE

 

CHANGES TO INTERNATIONAL SCHEDULE

 

 

The World Series of Poker have announced major changes to its international schedule. Starting in 2014, WSOP Asia-Pacific and WSOP Europe will be presented bi-annually. The change means that WSOP Europe will not be presented in 2014 but is scheduled to return in 2015.

 

 

WSOP APAC is set to take place in 2014 but will move to the spring season in Melbourne as 10 bracelet events will be presented at the Crown Casino between October 1st and 17th, 2014. The first edition of the WSOP Asia-Pacific was held last April as Daniel Negreanu was the first player to win the APAC Main Event. WSOP APAC would then make way to WSOP Europe in 2015.
