I think we should schedule for the weekend after the 17th of October (i'll be going anyway for my bday) i believe it's the 20th. I spoke with the pokerroom manager, and after ALOT of apologizing, i don't think it will be a problem.Is there any interest?I will pm everyone on the list a few days before hand this time to remind everyone if i have to.if this date doesn't work for everyone we can change it, i just know i'll be there anyway. What happened last time this went down?The Lovely River Girl took the initiative to set up a "private" table for a local FCP trip to Casino Windsor. She worked directly with the Room Manager to get a table and dealers available at a specific date and time. Unfortunately she forgot she was dealing with a bunch of degenerate gamblers and what that meant to their (our) reliability. Even though a number of them (us) initially indicated that we'd attend, no one actually showed at the scheduled meeting place - each with his own individual excuse (mine delivered several weeks in advance and related to my feeble lack of priorities that made me conclude that spending time with my wife on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of our wedding date would be more +ev in many aspects other than monetary)Thank you again to River Girl for your efforts! So our meeting time will be at 5:30 (not everyone is ontime ever). i was thinking right up top of the escalators, where the poker room entrance used to be. Much less congested. I think i'm pretty easy to spot....(hot blond chick lol) Somewhere in there would be perfect..it's quiet and there aren't too many people so it would be easily recognizable as to who was there for what.I really didn't htink the sportsbar would be so congested, i forgot about college football. (i still don't know how i missed that one). I did stand outside the sportsbar for a good half hour. But it really was far toooooo congested to find yourself in there let alone anyone else.If everyone can agree on a date, ONE EVERYONE WILL SHOW UP FOR, i will run it again. Don't get me wrong, I was really pumped to go, and I hated canceling last minute. Anyway, it's great you're taking such initiative on this, I commend you.A month away huh... I'll have it locked up in 2 weeks whether or not I can go. And if I end up going, I'm sure I'll get 1-2 more fcp'ers from this area that go to GVSU to come w/.
