The FCHL site is up and running at:http://hockey.nategosse.comEverything is pretty much put together, and I've sent an e-mail out to all involved, so if you're supposed to have gotten one and did not, let me know, I'll send you another one.The draft will be January 4th and 5th, so try and get access to a computer on those days for those of you involved. The site is ghetto I know, but it'll do the job for now.

would it be like an all day thing? for the draft?
Ya the forums will open for bidding at 12:00 p.m. and close at 11:59 p.m.at which point I will go through all the bids and create rosters for every team, and then determine who is under/over salary and roster room.

Awesome! Last time I saw the signups going around, I seem to remember you turning a spot down because you thought it would be a conflict of interest with the AHL. Very cool, I spent most of last week working out a draft strategy, can't wait to get started.

Still missing a bunch of Washington players and all of Atlanta.
Yes, and I'd like to know the exact starting and ending times for the auction/draft. Plus, does this have the potential to become a keeper league?

The email I got said the draft runs for 12 hours tomorrow, from Noon until 11:59pm. I assume that's Eastern time. Potential for the league to happen next year would rely (again, assuming) on how many people are interested in continuing, and overall how successful the league is this year. Hopefully there aren't too many drop-outs (none would be nice) and deadbeats who don't pay their entry after the draft (fees should have probably been collected pre-draft).

The thing I'm most confused about is the playoffs, because the regular season runs right up until the end of the actual regular season, meaning the playoffs will happen during the actual playoffs. I'm wondering if there will be a redraft for the playoff teams, or if you're stuck icing lineups each night out of whatever players on your team actually made the playoffs? It's conceivable that a team that makes the playoffs won't have any players to pick from for the actual games, so this needs to be addressed...

- noon eastern time tomorrow, to 11:59 eastern time - I'll have the Atlanta and Washington forums up in time.- Possibility of being a keeper league running into next year, this was semi-addressed in the last e-mail I sent out. Depends on interest really. We'd work something out so you'd get to keep a few "franchise players" or something and then redraft the rest.- The playoff thing we'll get settled within the next week or so. I agree I didn't think that part out well enough, but we'll get that settled before the second game.- As for the fees, I don't think it'll be that much of a problem, it turns out I promised a couple too many spots, so I'm sitting out myself (Petoria has my spot right now), and I'm going to take over for anyone who doesn't pay their fees, or craps out.... hopefuly someone does lol, otherwise I'm just Bettman. So far Untitled and DaveyG have paid.

Why would there be a problem? There's a max of 15 teams possible (2 goalies per team x 30 teams) and there's only 12 confirmed. Why couldn't Petoria be #12 and you take #13?

We need an even # of teams for scheduling!

Ah...that explains it. If the drop-outs leave us with an odd number I'm assuming we'll have to have bye games or something.

I just wan't to be clear on something for the draft. There is no distinction between centers and wingers? They are all included in one category called forwards? In other words, my forwards on my team can consist of all centers and no wingers?

One more thing as far as goaltenders? We are picking players, not teams , for goaltenders??FALSE
We are picking teams. You take Ottawa's goalies; not Hasek or Emery as individuals.
