  1. If you read my first post when i bubbled out in 2nd place I did make 2 crucial mistakes. There was honestly not 1 mistake I think i made all tournament. However, I'll post the hand history of the last 3 people and if you guys spot anything let me know. Thanks
  2. What does CPA stand for?I live in Guelph near Toronto. I actually was considering opening up a bar and kind of hiding the funds that way.... Also I make all my income online so I was thinking of either keeping my funds in neteller or just transferring from neteller to a non-canadian bank account? There has to be a way and it's almost fun to play with since you really can't get in ANY trouble at all if they find out, besides having to pay a truckload to them when they find out.
  3. That's a very odd requirement
  4. Hi I am a resident of Ontario and I play poker for a living. I'm only 19 right now but approaching on almost having $100,000 in my bank account. What should I do? Do I start paying taxes or just kinda go with it? I know in Canada you don't get in nearly as much trouble as the united states.... Also is there anyway to hide the funds? I know gambling winnings are tax free in canada but im pretty sure if it's your prime source of income they are taxable. I couldn't imagine giving any of my money away to the government......
  5. Well what can i say... yesterday I was pumped I was due. Let me elaborate a bit.About a month ago you active forum readers will remember my post "The worst feeling of my life". What happened was basically I had 100,000 chips to Hammans 25,000 chips on pokerstars heads up with 1 person taking home the Monte Carlo EPT event seat worth $17,500 and anotehr getting nothing. Hamman won, and I got nothing.Yesterday, in the 6000 FPP competition with 116 people top two got a seat. Well I had a ridiculously nice comeback and at one point didn't even have double the big blind. I made it to the final
  6. I was really suprised at how down to earth and nice all these pros are. They don't mind the attention at all. Raymer was also there and the Hendson mob, it was really cool to see so many greats. I look forward to watching the final 18 tomorrow and playing in the $1500 buy in later in the evening. But it's 6:45 am here I gotta go to bed!... this 6 hour time difference is killing me!
  7. Try comming 2nd when only 1st gets a seat to Monte Carlo, a priza package worth almost $20,000... second gets ZERO....that's tough
  8. The "censorsed" word in the subject is Copenh.agen where the tournament is being played in demark, im not sure why it's censored.
  9. It sounds like you really need to grow up and realize at the stakes your playing it's just a game. It's not worth going as far as shedding tears over. If you can't take losing don't play.
  10. Needless to say at only 19 years of age and 18 months of poker experience I was not expecting much going into the main Event of the European Poker Tour in Copenhagen. The prize pool was announced abouthalf an hour in and it was said to be close to 2.1 million danish kroners. I made a big laydown early with QQ. The board was 2/2/7/8 and I was facing a big bet from a man who re-raised me pre flop. I thought very very hard and folded, (I was quite happy when i saw him flip up AA). Time progressed and our table was being closed so we drew for new tables. I drew an ace of spades which is my favo
  11. I was at Raymers table with him at the 5/10 NL and he answered me. I think he just has observer chat off. I actually won a medium pot off him which was cool 8)
  12. Imagine that had been at the final table of a WPT event and you didnt make it outside or to the bathroom and you had chucked up over the cashe the pour on the table when its heads up.Youd be on every Blooper Reel Show for the next decade. On a serious note thats tough luck though. The most important thing is... should you be in that situation in the future, if you did maje any errors you have taken a lesson from this time and dont make them again!Hang in there!I made myself puke....
  13. Well I finally swayed away from my usual SnG NL games and decided to put $1000 on the table at pokerstars in the 5/10 NL. I actually did really well and from about 3 am till 6:30 am ended up cashing almost $3000.I was getting pretty good cards but I think I might of actually found something I like. Anyone else play high stakes NL hold em around here? I wouldn't mind PM'ing you and talking strategy. I think I might be playing a lot more of this
  14. I think we've all had that before...this guy I was playing however I can guarantee would not of even doubled his big blind with 6/2, he was very good. I didn't know at the time HOW good he is otherwise I would of checked the river, and/or said my secret words to make him fold when he asked me if i had the flush.
