Played such weak / tight / passive poker it hurt me to watch. Huck seed and Sean were playing the best IMO as well as Annie Duke. Actually Gus was playing well as well. Patiently. I predict Sean is going to win although i'd want either annie duke or huck seed to win. Sean pissed me off because of how bad he was ripping helmuth apart. Not that I'm a huge Helmuth fan but you see how pissed he was and he kept making fun of him and ****...I thought it wasn't cool on his part. Link to post Share on other sites

scottyno 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Share Posted February 8, 2007 it all depends on who they have on the show. the lack of annoucing means that you need to have colorful players at the table, since no matter how good the play is, if you're watching an hour of poker with almost no one saying anything its going to get boring. The episodes with Matusow or Hellmuth have been good because one of them is always talking, I like it a lot better anyway when the players are talking or analyzing the hands or telling stories than when the announcer is, since I dont need him to tell me what card a player needs to hit to win.the episode with all the world champs was pretty boring, but other than that Ive liked all the other weeks.btw if anyone is interested in knowing who will be on in future weeks (not spoilers, just lists the players) its all listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_After_Dark Link to post Share on other sites

It's not often you get to see basically every hand. You can learn alot more that way than watching a WSOP event that's an hour long that shows 10% of the hands or something.
