We have day 1 complete at the Expo.   It was a very uneventful day since the turnout was low. I believe that the fight between 2 guys in the industry is going to get nasty and another show is going

Otto and I enjoy it. We spend the whole weekend together and have a blast. We don't make a lot of money from it. We only do it for the love of the hobby   Because of doing this we have met a lot

The show I think was a success. We had a regular win the signed derozan jersey. Thank god he won since 3 guys I have never seen came in at the last second. When the draw was over they left. Peopl

Wayne, do you have an app or program that helps you organize the cards you have?

No I don’t. I know guys use excel. I just throw my stuff into a large shoebox

Day 1 of the Expo. We got up to the International Centre late because of numerous accidents on the Toronto highways. Luckily I drove our stuff up on Thursday night so setup was much easier. Sales was slow and I brought a lot of cards within a hour of the show. Some people had some interest in some cards but it seems that people are pretty tight. Otto myself and another dealer went out for wings after the show closed

Day 2 of the Expo. I had to send Otto up by himself since I had to take my girls to their softball games. Got up there at 1 pm so 3 hours latter Sales were nil which as sad but it did pickup. Got low ball on some cards and I just said thanks but no thanks. I am not desperate. Heard another dealer sold 3 Connor McDavid rookies for $850. On a bad day those cards would sell for $1,000 so I found it very strange. Heard that this Asian guy brought it. It was this skinny geeky Asian guy with the extremely hot Thailand looking girlfriend. One guy mention that they bargain and the Asian guy said he only had $800. The guy thought ya right to have a girlfriend like that you don’t have only $800.

Day 3 is tomorrow and Otto and I will be having breakfast at Zets before we go in

Day 3 in regards to sales was actually not bad. I always go in not really expecting much since this day always has the cheapos come out.

Otto won something from upper deck. It was a hobby box of Spx hockey. Retail on it is $130. I asked him if he wanted to open it or sell it. He said sell. Hmmmn the kid is thinking

I was a little bored at the end and brought a cheap blaster box hoping to pull and laine or barzal. I got marner instead. I paid $25 for the box and the Marner would sell for about $75.

Didn’t make a lot of money but always enjoy the atmosphere. Otto and I said our goodbyes to the Expo crowd and can’t wait for the next one in November

Is vlad jr the real deal? His high end cards are pricey $800ish but if he is it will look like a bargain. I am thinking of buying a few

Power, contact and a great eye at the plate. And he's only 19. He'll be better than Harper. Let's start there.

His numbers in AA as a 19 year old are almost inconceivable. It's really rare for a 19 year old to even play AA ball, let alone be the best hitter in the entire level. His plate discipline is almost unprecedented for his age. He has walked more than he has struck out across all minor league levels, while also hitting for a huge average and power, despite being one of the youngest players at every stop. He has better numbers across the board than Mike Trout did for his 19 year old AA season, by a pretty significant margin (Though smaller sample).

In my opinion, He's a generational talent, and along with Harper and Trout, he's the closest thing to a can't-miss prospect that's come along in the last decade.
