I hate this idea for a forum...

If you all want a bad beat story, buy Cloutier's PL/NLH book... That is the only bad beat that should ever be talked about... The reason for this being the worst beat ever is that there literally was a 0% chance of him winning but something happened and he did...

I would much rather have a section for all bad beat stories rather than have them all posted (i.e. taking up space) in the other sections of this forum. Just my opinion though.Duff

Here's what happened w/ the bad beat...Player 1 raises, player 2 moves all in, player 3 calls, player 1 ponders then folds...The dealer then makes a mistake and starts taking everyones cards away like the hand was over.... Apparently, she did not realize player 3 called... So player 3 got his cards before they went completely into the muck and so did player 2... Player 1's cards were now mixed into the deck as the dealer washed the deck... So they agreed to a reshuffle and the cards were dealt...Flop comes K T ragTurn TRiver ragPlayer 2 has KKPlayer 3 has TTHere's the kicker... Player 1 folded a pair of tens pre flop! So since his cards were mucked and mixed in the reshuffle, he now had a chance to win... So the only way player 3 has a prayer to win is if player 1's cards get back into the shuffle as they did. Then, he turned 4 of a kind... SickeningP.S. Player 3 was CloutierNo one can say theyve experience such a travesty... I dont care if you flopped a straight flush and lost... Going from 0% to win, oops, then to 20%, then back to 5% and then spiking your card!INSANITY

Just because the 10s were out of the deck doesn't mean he had a 0% chance to win before the flop. It's pretty hard to be drawing dead before the flop unless its like AA vs 99, both of the same suit and all the 10s and 8s were mucked. Cloutier still could have hit a straight or flush with the original board, but yea, thats the worst beat I've ever heard.
