Anyone Have Any Strategy For The Me Satties?

Recommended Posts

I just got a seat in a 4$R tourney for an $80 dollar sattelite into the 650 dollar satty sunday. Well that $80w was pretty easy to get in that $4R so what I am thinking is keep playing these small buyin larger field tourneys and saving up the $80w wins to play in a $475 satty or the $650 (I dont really like the 215 DS format).Any thoughts or suggestions on this idea?

Variance says just play the entry you won. Even in the soft $4r youre too likely to eat into those $80W in a couple of losses. The steps are probably the best value if youre a good SnG player. I just won a Step 4, but the competition for the 5s is very tough...I would definitely take W$ for the $700 if it were available, because getting to Step 5 is fairly straightforward and much lower variance than the MTTs.

With my low bankroll and limited time to play I think I may take a couple of cracks at the steps and maybe see if I can find some time to play some of the 40+r FPP sats or $2+r sats. My ME appearance might have to wait until next year, when I have a bigger role to play around with.

I just won a seat in sundays 650 satellite off a 3 dollar rebuy satellite(HAD 9 IN IT!). I am going to have to shop around and see if I want to play it or not. Or look for a better route to try and get there.

The $3+r sat only had 9 entrants? So it was basically a $3+r SnG? How strange.Maybe now is a good time to get in some sats before the rest of the world starts paying more attention...
