Of course you should check behind but yo will be in a tough spot if the river bricks and he bets ( well not so tough since you'll have to flod but your hand is still quite strong I think given the pot odds)
Verdimme 0
Yup, just put it in. I'd also bet a bit bigger on the flop.

linkwood 0
I agree with the others. Bet more on the flop. Even though you still have ace high you effectively hit a decent flop for your hand. Bet it like you mean it. If you bet small like you did you don't really define your hand and the villians' hands. You don't know if UTG is there with 88 or QsJs. As played, on the turn, move in. You might move UTG off a better hand, which obviously increases your equity significantly. Just move in, spike a spade and call it good.
krup24 0
Ur the table captain, unfortunately ur not acting like it. As played checking behind the turn is how would play it against most opponents although he can easily be on a flush as well. Thus i'm about 50/50 check behind/push.

krup24 0
No.care to elaborate because i think checking behind is a viable option based on how the flop was played. don't get me wrong i would like way more chips in on the flop but thats not the case. i don't think our fold equity is that high on the turn and without reads i'd love to be able to put UTG on a hand but I can't. Naismith 0
We only bet the turn for one of two reasons:1) We think the all in has a worse hand than ours and UTG will lay down a hand that's ahead of us (like middle pair or whatever).or...2) We think the UTG has a hand we're ahead of that will call so we profit even though the all in has us beat.If we're not sure of either of these scenarios, we take the free card. (Possibly our aces are dirty if we hit on the river). Take the free card and when the river bricks be happy you didn't unnecessarily risk $25 for no reason.
