  2. Didn't Hachem wig out in event that he finished second in? He had A-Q to a guy's A-5, and the guy got lucky on the river to win the bracelet...I heard Joe didn't take it very well...But yes, Hachem is a cool guy. I love his reaction on the circuit event..."Why don't they ever believe me?"
  3. I'm sure it depends on the state.Besides, cops have more important things to do then go around in a Gestapo-esque manner kicking in doors and locking up people doing their 10 dollar home game....
  4. My friend that runs weekly poker nights at bars charges $75, and that's just 11.5 gram chips that you can buy at Wal-Mart and fold up tables....If you want to charge 10-50 for casino quality....hope you're rich. You're going to lose money.
  5. Define "Casino Quality" chips....
  6. Call. The ME is virtually a crap shoot anyways. You have to bust sooner or later, and considering that 90% of the field isn't going to cash...you might as well take the chance. So what if I lose? If I have 10K to get into the WSOP, then I can afford to lose. Yeah, it's ten thousand dollars, but I wouldn't be in the ME if I couldn't afford to lose it. Besides, depending on the situation, I might have paid $100 in a satellite to get in, gotten lucky, etc....If you lose, then you lose, that's why it's gambling. So, just call, and hope they hold up.
  7. What the hell are you talking about? He cashed in the '03 and the '05 Main Event, and cashed eleven times since '03 in the WSOP.... Howard's WSOP bracelets in 2000 and 2001 say hello.Hmmm, I suppose those would count as cashes as well
  8. I was into poker before Rounders, before I had even heard of Rounders. If gave me an appreciation for understanding other games besides Hold 'Em, but other than that, it only made me ask one question: Why in hell didn't Mike beat the living **** out of Worm after that Stud game?Seriously, Mike's doing fine, and Worm ****s it all up. Screw Gramma and KGB killing them, if I were Mike, I would've made what they do seem like a wet dream.Yeah, I got into poker from this game "Dragon Warrior/Quest IV". They had a casino in it, and a "Poker" game. Basically, it was 5 card draw video poker. I learned
  9. Fold. While you have a shot at two flushes, it's a low end. Even if both other players have aces, then they have a shot at the nut flush, if of course one of their other hole cards is a club or spade. The straight is almost as bad. If you get a wheel draw, you're up a creek because A) It can bring an Ace, likely making trips for one of your opponents, and B)if a 2 doesn't fall, you have 2 pair, and are probably already beaten. Not to mention the chances that your opponents have overcards galore. What if the flop's 7-9-10? You're hurting, and you've just thrown 3 grand away. You raised, you got
  10. Let's hope this guy doesn't stumble across the IMDB...."stop supporting movies and live"
  11. You guys just ever want to strangle the hell out of someone at the table? Not for making a bad play, or stuff like that, but just for being a total ****?Well yeah...How do these ****s get off saying I'm on tilt, when I'm not? Just...uggggg.
  12. Fold. The button has either pocket jacks or a 7, maybe J-7. You're in a heep of trouble.Other than folding, I would've bet on the turn, test the waters out. You're out of posisition, so a probe bet should be in order. If he re-raises, you're in trouble, and should fold. The river brings a harmless 8, unless he was playing a sick straight draw, but I don't think he'd risk it with a board like that. In any case, folding on the river, as painfull as it may be, is the correct call, if anything from the raise and the re-raise, as well as the button's constant betting. He has something, and he's not g
  13. Good call. Your low is pretty much non-existent at this point, and I'd say the chances that he has a ten or king-ten is pretty good. Shame you have to give up the aces, but that's Omaha.
  14. That's not really a poker face though. That's more of a restrained 'wtf?'.Poker face would be the look on his face when he's talking to the cops about his wife and her lover's murder....
