I just had my biggest win last night/this morning. I won the mini-series event at the Bike! The only problem is I am supposed to be at work in a few hours. Hopefully my boss will let me take the day off so i can sleep then celebrate. I came to the final table in 2nd chip position and got some good hands early, so I raised and noticed that nobody wanted to gamble. The chip leader was on my right and was playing tight to avoid playing with me, so I started raising around half the hands and only a few times did people raise me back. It's a great feeling having almost everyone at the table fearing you. We made a deal with 4 players left and I had more than twice as many chips as anyone else. The amazing thing is that I only sucked out once the whole tournament. Every other time, i either got the money in with the best hand, lost the pot, or both.

Congrats Sloshr, but may I ask why you made a deal if you were the 2nd biggest stack and almost everyone at the table was fearing you???Hope you got the best end of that arrangement. 8)

It was better than rocks & rings. I'd say it was a 1.4! And who here wouldn't accept a deal of more than 3/4 of 1st with huge blinds and 4 players left (other than DN), no matter how big their chip lead. It was more of everyone else, who was about even, trying to lock up a good payday, rather than the crap they give 4th (around $2500).

Just a shameless bump so that my daytime friends don't miss this thread. I'm finally awake after taking a well deserved day off work, and it still feels great. Since I'm not at work today, I might join you guys for the Negreanu open if i have time.

Sorry no big time tournament winners allowed in the Negreanu Open.

Buy in was $150 + 25. No rebuys. Not a bad investment.Anyway, looks like I won't be able to make the Negreanu open tonight anyway, since my friends want to go out to celebrate tonight. I just hope I am alive enough to get back to work tomorrow.
