how did you lose weight in Vegas!

 

not entirely sure!

although to be honest, I weighed myself day I left, and I hit 171. So I gained a couple in the days I was actually there.

 

tbh, most of it is because I was walking around a ton, not eating a lot....and drinking my calories. Once my work days ended and I started to drink a lot, I somehow was having like 1.5meals a day. Its amazing how your appetite just leaves once you start+keep drinking. lol

Its when I stop drinking that it all changes, now I want carbs+sugar.

Its when I stop drinking that it all changes, now I want carbs+sugar.

 

I was able to satisfy this craving to a great extent, hence the number above. Time to get back on the horse, somewhat....

This week is going to be hard. I have several work and social outings scheduled and there will be a lot of temptation to eat bad food and drink beer. I also won't be able to get in as many workouts unless I can manage to get up super early before work (not a morning person).

One of my teammates had me joking a fitness group of theirs on FB. This month they had a fitness challenge to go out each dsy and be active. So I said wtf. You have to post pics of your progress (Fitbit details, Runkeeper app days etc) for accountability.

 

I weighed myself on June 1 (178). I have not changed my diet. Just a lot of activity. Steps, soccer, hockey, and plenty of bike rides. Down to 172.8.

I step on the scales 2 weeks ago. It was 199. My girls laugh at me.

 

So what is different? I drive my daughters to their softball practices 2-3 times right now. The Kawartha ice cream store is only 15 mins away and they are having their large milkshakes on sale.

 

So I stopped and I now weigh 196.
