.the intitial raiser had opened 5 straight pots with the same 15k raise..the flat call was done to induce someone behind me to think the same thing you are thinking, and cause them to try a squeeze on the original raiser...i did this only b/c i had a little more than 10bb's, so getting more players in the pot was giving me a better chance of chipping up to contention...it happened exactly how i planned..i got it aipf with over 3:1 on my money....it was a $3+r..i "dumb it down" quite often in these tourneys..like i posted earlier, if i respected the other players more, or if this were a bigger buy in, i would have obv. played it alot diff...

ok a few concerns. I only read your first post..You called from EP with 8 4 off..What the **** do you expect?You also like to use the all-in button a lot..A couple of these are just races that you lose.. those aren't bad beats...

the hand you are speaking of is from the first hour of a rebuy tourney...i play almost every hand during the first hour, with the intention of building a massive stack early(and getting alot of chips on the table).. this is standard in rebuy tourneys..also..i use the all in button alot in the first hour, i really don't overuse it in the latter stages of the tournament....if you'd look at the beats that occured later in the tournament, when it has become a freezout, all of my plays are alot more "textbook"..

oh, and the majority of these are legit bad beats..the only "races" you'll see posted are like the one where i get it all in with 10's, get called by AJ, flop top set, and lose to runner runner flush..that is a race pre-flop, but the result of the hand turns into a bad beat..
