  1. Just saw the highlights. Biron is lucky to still be alive. They play again saturday!
  2. I noticed that too. I'd bet he does, because he was psyched about his string of consecutive cashes on the WPT. I'm sure he wants to keep the streak alive, although he'll likely be drained after winning this.
  3. Just from viewing the chp counts the past two days, what Mark Gregorich has been doing is impressive as well. Starting day two he was on the bottom of the count and lingered around the bottom the entire day. Looks like he made a strong push in the middle of today and is still hanging in there.
  4. Ok, well I know this seasons Bear's D was nothing like the '85 Bears. But they did allow only 61 points at home this year or something sick like that. Carolina came in and put up 29 against what was the toughest defense all year (yes it hurt not having Jerry Azumah but still). Seattle has had some really great defensive games and I like their corner Marcus Trufant, but if even if you doubled Steve Smith with Trufant and Dyson I still like Smith's chances to shred that D.Just my opinion. Not trying to disrespect your team but I believe Delhomme and the Panthers are playing well and have the exp
  5. I honestly don't think they have a prayer against the Panthers, but good luck to your team. They have a bright future with that Lofa Tatupu guy.
  6. Ok, I gotta letcha know two other rules about it then. Every new round of buying the first person to buy is supposed to rotate one to the left. Also, if the last person to act in a buying round purchases a card it's replacement is not flipped up till after that betting round (to keep someone that may like the replacement from pounding the pot). It's addicting. :-)
  7. I just read Daniel's article about his favorite dealer's choice game Vanunu. I thought I'd share one of my favorite sidegame, Grocery Shopping. It's high/low eight or better no declare and played like seven card stud h/l. The twist is every one is dealt two cards face down and then four community cards are dealt in the center. The deck is placed in the center and the player left of the dealer has the option of buying the first card for a dollar the 2nd for $2, 3rd for $3, and 4th for $4. Or if none of the cards showing coordinates with your hand (or you're just a cheap bastard) you can take a
  8. Would've been more fun if the final board read Q 10 8 6 5 all hearts. I'm still kinda suprised you got paid off, figure in a $50 sng you're only getting called when you're beat. :?
  9. Listings show it starting on FSN @ 6pm est but then also show it starting on csn @ 7pmHis blog says the poll will be conducted throughout the event, so they'll probably give you a # to text your vote through your cell phone.I don't see how Danny can lose.
  10. Even with the <sw> that's a horrible thing to say. I myself already thought it in my head but didn't want to say it out loud because I didn't wanna jinx the man. He is by far one of my favorite players, and I'm so hoping he or Ivey wins. Ivey heads up against Juanda would be a dream match.
  11. He was the guy in the 2003 WSOP who took cover under his jacket when he was involved in a hand with Howard Lederer while Howard was trying to get a read on him. From what I've read on him seems like he's got a lot of respect from his peers. Good luck to him, only 57 more to go.
  12. One of the cheesy, random things I remember him saying this show was something like "Hasan is cracking worse than Joe Namath's knees."I couldn't help laughing. I'd like to know if he actually has any thoughts going through his head when he says some of the stuff.
  13. The guy sittin in the orange is like daaaammmnn. You got knocked the f*ck out!
  14. I hope Tony G. can survive to get into the final table as well. Tony and Hellmuth would make a great confrontation. This final table is gonna be awesome.
  15. Everything about that table was crazy. That Corey kid was playing pretty wacky and the faces he kept makin were really getting annoying. Quad jacks, that Dr. J called like a 800,000 bet with A-Q, Gus probably broke something afterwards. I'd like to see a combined percentage Danny was to bust out with all those dominated hands he was up against. He'll always have that 4-3 offsuit plaqued on his wall to remind him that he's a crazy mofo.Yeah that final table was the craziest sh*t I've ever seen.
