  1. OK, here is the math. We assume villian has an ace and all ten of our outs are good. So for example lets just assume villian has ATo. Also assume hero just has to decide push or fold to the villians reraise on the flop. From Pokerstove:Board: Ah 9h 7hDead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 57.071% 57.07% 00.00% 565 0.00 { AsTc }Hand 1: 42.929% 42.93% 00.00% 425 0.00 { KcKh }So hero wins 43% of the time which is actually pretty good.On the flop after you bet, there is $28 +$15.50 = $48.50 in the pot and villian has a l
  2. You know No Neck, there is a lot of wisdom in what you say here. Absolutely nothing wrong with folding in this situation and probably the best path. For me, I will know I have arrived when I can lay this hand down like that.
  3. Ok yes I agree against a decent villian. This is an insta fold. But did anyone read my original post? The guy that pushed was a total donk. He was also on tilt. Two hands before, I took him for like $12 with KK versus 64. He called huge bets flop, turn and river cause he thought the 4 he hit on the flop was good. Really bad player ok? The call of his push with AQ is usually going to be +EV. I would do it the same way everytime given this situation. Was my read good..... ? He turned over J9off at the end of the hand.
  4. This one can actually be solved beyond a shadow of a doubt with math. If you assume he has an ace and you assume all ten of your outs are good. I've got to go now, but will math it out and post here later. My gut says its a -EV call, but lets see what the math says.

  6. So you don't think he could be getting aggressive with a draw or somethink like JJ?
  7. Somebodies got an ace. You have maybe 8 heart outs and a couple of king outs if he is not holding a heart or king. Pretty big pot, but you have a big stack as does the villian. You are probably at best a little worse than a coing flip. He is fairly pot commited and is going to call your shove. Lay down I think.BTW, I think the flop bet is excessive given the preflop action and the board texture. I would bet around ten.
  8. Your right, its a troll. Look at the account join date.... today. It is indeed funny tho.
  9. Lol, is this for real? Were you two really both in this hand?
  10. he was a franktard. I had him wired. he turned over J9 at the end of the hand.
  11. Yes you could do that. But not if they are willing to be more aggressive than you which they might be if they know you laydown premium hands.
  12. Ok, yeah, you are right. A shove here is better. Kind of extreme to label it worst call ever. I don't think it makes much difference... call or shove given the stack sizes. Not like a shove is gonna keep the cutoff out given that the call was 60% of his stack If I had shoved, I guess I wouldn't be asking the original question.

And I just took a big pot from him with KK versus 64s, so he is st
