  1. JT. People way overvalue JT in 3bet pot IP You can mumble how bad you run after he flips over JT, but when you've checked the turn you must shove.
  2. If you do call and club falls then you have no other choice but to fold to a bet.If a blank falls and villain checks you should bet/call. There's very little chance he checks the turn with set on this board.> Non club facing action? It's the ugliest part. Main thing is that you have position and you can re-evaluate based on his actions/bet sizes.IMO: raise to 150$ (& fold to shove) > call > raise to 100$ >>> fold
  3. Isn't the raise a bit on small side? Villain needs to call 60 to win 230. I'd rather just call than raise giving them immediate odds to draw (while bloating the pot).
  4. IMO our hand looks a lot like a Kx that decided to c/c river as all draws missed. He would have to overbet the river to have any FE, and I doubt he does it big % of time. But maybe I'm giving villain too much credit.
  5. +1Bet size would be the same as I'd take with really thin valuebet. Prob around 80-100. Small enough to let draws bluff raise and pairs to call.Would he really bet draws so much more often than raise weak blocking bet, so that checking would be best line?
  6. UTG fish might be reason enough to get involved with marginal holding PF. No?
  7. 6 8 or A 3 :diamond:But as you're not crazy as Simo then I'll go with the nuts.Being the button I'd be so confused I'd shove my entire range except stone cold bluffs. Equity wise: everything that has decent (30%+) equity over 99-TT
  8. I kind of agree. This size will give us nice PSB on turn, but... On complete blank turn e.g 5 I think this opponent does not find fold button very often. Ace is the best card for us (that doesn't complete our draw). OP read was that villain didn't like folding turns. As default play OP played it perfect. Now I'm not suggesting anymore but asking: can anything be done differently because of OP read, Snamuh?
  9. Without falling into all of the turn discussion (where I agree that shove is only move there) I want to come back to flop.OP: why did you decide to 3 bet 87 vpip guy and not 29 vpip guy (it obv should've been other way around). Adding the fact that Ama theorem applies here I like b/c on flop or 3bet allin.Bet/call will give us chance to draw and get paid because villain doesnt like fold button.3bet shove gets us actually value against his range as he might call you down with bottom pair. Why aren't we cbetting this flop? I suppose you meant b/c
  10. I 3bet this flop as default play (especially as we're OOP) unless I have a read that opponent is CS and I have no FE. Actually if I don't want to 3bet this flop then I'd c/r it instead.Leading the turn might through villain off as we shouldn't have many 4s in our range, so it's fine. I prefer CRAI on turn (normal c/r looks more like a boat and we don't want to over-rep our big hand).
  11. Do you want to play for stacks here? If yes, bet the turn. If not then: * betting the turn gets value from draws * checking the turn gets a little more value from made hands on river. * number of made hands far outweighs the number of draws in his rangePlayed fine IMO.
  12. vpip 60 guy has lot of twopairs in his range that he thinks he's betting for value. Hell he even might think his slowplayed AA is good here. Raise to 25$ and call a shove.
  13. Those statements are little contradictional. Or you have too narrow 4bet range. Flatting 3bet with KK 200bb deep is std (granted, we're IP)?
  14. Why is pot-controlling with those hands (KK-AA, AQ) necessary here? It's 3bet pot where he has TPTK+. He should like to get it in. It would be paranoid to put hero on set based on flop action (c/c such a small bet with set would be mistake). He might pot control with KQ though.I agree with OP here that river bet is monster or hand we beat. So question is: how often does he get out of line on river?Do we like blocking bet on river?
  15. 1.25$ is minimum PF (3bb + limpers). Id' make it 1.5$ at least (maybe more, if i'm positive MP will call more).I'd pot the flop against 2 stationy fish.Turn is meh. How often do you think SB c/r TP on flop? SB range is really strong here (sets mostly). Fold.
