15/30 Limit Game with Kill.

Local Poker Room, has a small core group of regulars who play together pretty much every night... the last hour or two hours before closing the games have been getting completely out of hand.

Straddles, and capped 7 way kill or not, with ranges of any 2 cards in 6 out of the 9 seats.

Last night specifically was an insane last hour... and I was kind of stunned for what to do in the spot in terms of range adjustments... It's a spot where variance goes through the roof.

Preflop was 4 or 5 bets 6 - 8 handed, and the postflop action dropped substantially, usually single bets on each street as one person connected and others tried to run them down with flat calls...

So, any input on what adjustments to make in these hours of madness?

I played in a lot of limit holdem games like this back in the charity casino days in Toronto.

You need to play hands preflop that play well multiway. The best hands are still the biggest pairs but big suited broadway cards are also great. You want to win big pots with straights, flushes and two pair type hands so starting with suited connectors and suited broadway will give you more ways to flop good. As you describe it they are also making it cheap to draw after the flop since it sounds like they are gambling preflop a lot but aren't maniacs postflop.

One thing to be careful of is having 2nd best flushes when you play your suited connectors since there are going to be times when K8 and Q7 sooted will be out there to beat your 56 flush.
